Who brought the people back from the earth?
I don't like them. But the magic must be powerful.

But I want to learn everything. You said I should take lessons wherever I find them.

There is a difference between learning from people who have your best interests in mind and learning from beings like him.

I promise you, Mordred, and I will never lie to you, no good can come from him.

But he could show me things that none of you can. Not even you and Morgause.

Do you think he'd hurt us?

Perhaps the real reward is in learning for yourself. In finding your own way. There may be a way you can learn to do as he has, without the strings attached to his teaching. It may take more time and effort, but the best things come with work and patience.

I think he will, given the opportunity.

Do you know how to do it?

I do not.

But that does not mean we cannot learn for ourselves. That is what research is for. Do you not agree?
