This is a quick update on Clint. I started to text you all but I would have been doing it forever.

Thanks to Claire's blood, he's mostly healed. As far as the serious injuries go, his eyes have grown back but he can't see yet. Claire is confident that he will regain his sight, it's just a matter of time. He has, however, lost his hand.

Considering what he's been through, he's in reasonably good spirits. Although if I hear another eye or hand pun I might go crazy.

He can have visitors but I'm laying down some ground rules:

1) Two people at a time.
2) Warn him before you touch him.
3) No alcohol. This means you, Tony.
4) No apologising for not being able to help - Clint insists that there was nothing you could've done, and he's an adult who is living with the consequences of his actions. He's also asked me to punch anyone in the face if you try it.
5) Don't be an idiot or I will throw you out.

Bruce, we both want to know that you're okay. Can you check in when you see this?

Can someone please bring us both a change of clothes, something to eat, my spare gun and extra gun clip - they're in my nightstand - and a laptop?

Clint would also like his throwing knives, but I'm vetoing that until I'm sure he isn't going to use them on visitors.

I'm not just confident he'll regain his sight, I'm positive. My dad did. I don't see why Clint would be any different.

And I'll stop by later this evening to check on him. I need to do the whole mom thing right now, plus get some sleep before my husband knocks me out or something to make it happen.

Like I told Tony yesterday, there's no need to thank me. I'm just glad I was able to help.

Also, I wanted to talk to you about something. Considering Clint's state right now, and the fact that he's in a public place, I'm going to put down a few sigils and take a few precautions to keep ~~Meg~~ any demons that Moriarty might have working for him from getting into the room. I mean, I know you're ~~a total badass~~ able to hold you own but... I'd just feel better, knowing they couldn't get in at all.

And on that same note, I'm also going to have my stepdaughter hang out at the clinic, too. She's not human herself and can tell if someone else is human or not too. Her name is Emma and you won't even know she's there unless she's needed.

Demons? Why am I not even surprised that my life now involves demons?

I'd feel better to. Demons aren't something I was trained to deal with or know anything about, so I'll take any help I can get. I don't suppose there's an Idiots Guide To Dealing With Demons that I could borrow? I don't want to get blind sided like this again.

Okay. The more protection the better.
