You know, it isn't that I mind this place all that terribly much. I don't. But I'm getting a bit tired of the back and forth even if it is being spaced further apart. Though I do appreciate the break in lesson planning for however long this time around lasts. I kept saying I needed a vacation and I suppose this is good as any other.

Right. Now that that's finished, who's still about?

Do not be surprised if many are no longer here. It would seem we just had quite a few leave.

I'm not certain there's very much about this place that can surprise me, really. Particularly it's penchant for bringing folks here only to whisk them away again. And, as I told that other bloke up there, if a fair few have left, you can all but expect more to keep right on arriving.

That is practically all this city has done since I arrived.

How long have you been here?

Four months, give or take.

So just long enough for it to become maddening but not quite long enough to experience the full force of what the city can sometimes do, then?

The only way this city will become maddening is if I stay bored for too much longer. I may need to fix it

Right. Because that doesn't sound terribly ominous or anything similar. And now, I suppose, it's time for my sister to lecture me on how I really should give others a chance even if they're

It can be. If you prefer it to sound that way.

Oh, I think we both know what I prefer really couldn't matter any less to you if you made a conscious effort on your part. However, I am relatively reliant upon the fact that you are hardly the most powerful being in this place and, while you may be able to do a great many things, there are some who can do even more than you. Including undo whatever damage you might decide to cause in your boredom.

I've managed to go four months without a hint of damage done to this city by my own means. I believe that is what you would call a victory.

Oh, yes. Albie is wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.

I've missed him terribly, even though it hasn't been that long at all.

Yes. Apparently he's a Norse god.

I've never really been all that keen on muggle religions, but I've been reading about this one and it's rather fascinating.

It's quite fascinating.

I know the books don't exactly paint him in a positive light, but he's really very nice. He's been a good friend to me here.
