It wasn't an age thing, no. It was something else. Something made you not as bright. Something made you like Dr. Rosen. You're who you're supposed to be. That's what my mom said only you weren't anymore. I didn't like it.

Charles is going to let me drive. That's what he said. I get to drive at two thirty.

Something that made me normal? How would I see. A lot can happen in fifty years. And I imagine whatever it was, my older self deemed not to share it with anyone? Because that would be just like me.

Yes. At two thirty. That's between two and three. I'm driving him for errands. That's what he said. I get to drive him to errands at two thirty.
