Hi everyone!
I'm Milli, at magnipheasant. It's sparkly new because IJ ate my old one due to inactivity :/ Oops. But I'm happy to have new frands! I don't think I know or have written with any of you before after a quick glance at the roster, but possibly? Regardless, I'm excited to meet and write with all of you! I really can't top a cone-laden key-smashing puppy in this intro for drama factor (I mean honestly, who can?) and I feel like my intros always turn into this anyway →

Cool? Nope. Awkward. Well done, Milli. So I'll cut to the chase. I've brought in two new kiddos right off the bat, because I'm über greedy like that. I'm equally greedy for lines, plots and all sorts of tangle-y goodness *grabby fingers* including back logs. I already introduced both characters pretty extensively here on the plotting page, so I won't repost detail.

Skalah

stormwings is a Grey Warden mage and griffon rider. She arrived in Cumberland just a few weeks ago, so any relations she'll have with non-wardens should mostly be fresh. She's like a slightly feral Avvar Beyoncé with adrenaline junkie tendencies. Cormac

the_threnodies is a Cumberland native and has been a Templar for ten years now, so he'd be an established fixture. He's basically 6.5ft of banged-up heart with street kid smarts and a perma-scowl. I'm more than happy to plot/log backstory with anyone interested. :) That's about it for me. So excited to be here!

Yes definitely. Let's see how they interact and lock down specifics from there, maybe? Ain't nobody got time for that, indeed. There are hurlocks to explode and such. Come on, now. Also yes to Sorin. Cannot lie, the guy is pinchably adorable.

I'm not sure about Midha for Cormac, but I can see him having crossed paths with Sorin before. He was pretty familiar with the alienage as a kid, and he's only three years older than Sorin. So possibly some goofy kiddo fun was had there and they could have remained pals? We can always knock out details. I'm fine with either!

Sounds good to me!! We can do a pre-log for Midha and Skalah, or have something just before the tourney, or at the tourney????? Just to see how they gel together. and idk if you want to say that Skalah was at Midha's Joining or not, I think it's established that Adan and Cas were iirc, and idk if Skalah would've been involved in the skirmish that led to Midha getting conscripted, but I'm open to anything. ^_^ And Sorin will def be at the tourney, though not participating, only watching, but if not there I'm sure we'll find other places to connect them~ (and he will 100% ogle at her griffon negl)

So I finally got around to reading Cormac's bio (saw your post while at rehearsal, flailed, and quickly typed up my response because alkjdf;lksjdf;) and YES, I'd say he and Sorin probably knew each other as kids, and since Cormac looks human could be one of Sorin's first piece of evidence that #NotAllHumansSuck and that's why Sorin doesn't hate humans on principle (idk if Cormac would've confided to Sorin as a kid that he's half elf)??? So goofy kid fun and still friends, I'm all for this!! ^_^

Basically anything I can involve Skalah in, I'm all in for. So we can say she was at Midha's joining and the sprawl that lead to it, if that works for you. I'm mobile at the moment but I'll read her profile in detail later tonight to see what that really gets Skalah into. But definitely up for logging them pre-tourney. Also, Skalah's griffon is a puffed-up, proud snippy bastard (who she absolutely adores) so he soaks up gawking like its no ones business. He's welcome to it!

Oh, slummy kids. This makes me smile. And thanks for the text smash flail, haha. I adore Skalah but he's kinda my bebe already, cannot lie. He wouldn't have told Sorin about his parentage as kids because he was taught to think of it as a major point of shame because it's part of the reason he wasn't worthy of being kept by his mum, but he might tell him at some point in the future if they've stayed pal-y and it comes up. Also, I read Sorin's intro post and Cormac WAS mentored by a fantastic old Orlesian Chevalier, and the manners definitely rubbed off. So that process might have been a laugh for Sorin to watch. Regardless, I'm excited for them to be pals now. Cormac's happy to be a non-shitty human example.

For that fight that gets Midha conscripted, it basically lands Skalah and other Grey Wardens into some gang territory in Starkhaven, they get ambushed, everyone is killed except Midha because ~mad duelist skillz bro~ and so they conscript her instead. But np, take your time, I've only just managed to find a breather at work!! But yes, let us log pre-tourney things! I can get you a starter later this evening unless you'd rather do it~ I need more things for Midha so I'm super eager for this!!

And oh man, Sorin and Chevaliers, particularly ex-Chevaliers, he's about to have a COMPLEX about them, kekeke. XDDDD;;;;;; But~ yes, Sorin would have enjoyed seeing the transition, and if he ever gets to/had an opportunity to see Cormac fight he'll probably notice a few similarities in style beyond just the Guardian thing. ^-^ If you want Cormac to have told Sorin, we can say that it's come up. Sorin would've been fascinated but natch wouldn't have changed his opinion on Cormac. But yes, they can still be pals, for sure~ :DDDDDD

Eee yay logs! And yeah, I've seen some of your CDJ posts about work stuff. What a load of crazy right now - fun crazy it sounds, but still a load. I'm headed to a friend's b-day shindig in just a few, so if you'd like to toss a starter my way I'll tag you back as soon as I'm up in the morning. I'm at ellipsisters [@] gmail. Otherwise, I can start it over morning coffee and some hair o' the dog. :)

All sorts of fun. XD I think we'll probably have to log them at some point soon to figure out how they interact and nail down finer specs, yes?

*lol* Yes, it's weird because even my team lead is like OMG TAKE A VACATION NEXT WEEK but I don't feel overworked? Tired, yeah, but my job is awesome so I'm not complaining. ^-^ But yes, I can get you the starter....... when I'm feeling more sober because I don't know if writing when tipsy is the best idea ever or the worst. I mean, I AM writing a dwarf, so maybe tipsy is appropriate??? XDDDDDDDD

And sounds good to me for Sorin/Cormac log! My plate is getting a little fuller now but if you want to toss me a starter we can do something, or we can wait a bit too, I'm okay with either! ^_^
