Still wrapping my head around it all, I can't quite believe tomorrow is my wedding day.

I know some of you are dealing with tough losses. We'd love to have you there with us but we do understand if you're unable to make it.

The rest of you, be prepared for some of the best cake of your life. And no, I didn't make it nor did I let my soon-to-be wife.

It's our lives, you'd think we'd all be used to it by now.

She's an incredible baker and I'm not half bad, but it's her day to relax and let things be about her and not just her food! Besides, Thanksgiving is around the corner and you already know we'll have you so well fed you'll have to roll home.

It'd be worse if we were actually used to it. Maybe. That whole hope springs eternal thing.

For real. There's enough to fret about I hear without adding that. And I'm taking that as a challenge you know. My metabolism is a beast. Also a good reminder to start researching some good sides because I'm not coming empty handed.

God there's two of you. Well, three, Dee's metabolism gets that super boost, too. And Lyra can put away some food.

Dude. No shopping until next Friday. At least. If you all need anything before then, I'll play delivery boy.

And I'm not going to offer any help or anything for end of the month stuff until then too because focus on your big day. One event at a time.

Look, we're postponing honeymoon things, I canndo basic grocery shopping! Besides, it's May, she'll want to be cooking again by Sunday night and you know it.
