So, it's a long weekend. Does anyone wanna get out of town for a day? Don't really care where, just renting a car and going on a road trip sounds relaxing.

It's an average of 6.5 hours without stops going the speed limit. Very few on California freeways go that slow, however.

So speed? 70 to 80 mph depending on stretch of freeway.

It can be a lot some days. But it is less dangerous, in general, than home. The harder part is finding purpose; I teach at the local high school.

I see what you mean. It's definitely less dangerous for me too, here, but well - home's home, isn't it? but I can see not having a purpose being a bit of a problem for me, as well. Oh, teaching is great fun - what is it you teach?

I teach Russian language and culture studies. And then I double for gym class and took on their driver's education program.

It depends on the person. And I don't charge the displaced people. We're all in this together.
