VOLUNTEER SPOTS
VOLUNTEER ONE does not get along with the mini calzones and spends the rest of the evening heaving behind a tree. WYNNIE LLEWELLYN and HUGH CHRISTIAN begin a dance battle because THIS IS OUR JAM! VOLUNTEER FOUR gets really emotional and decides to confess their feelings... to the wrong person. TESS HARKIN makes friends with the family dogs, who are currently penned up the kitchen. ZIVA SHASHA gets lost on the way to the bathroom and accidentally ends up in Clea’s childhood bedroom, where they come across a very embarassing picture of her. NOLAN MACLAVER manages to snag the last Costco chocolate chip cookie. Jerk. VOLUNTEER EIGHT goes a little too hard on the dance floor and needs to borrow a change of clothes after accidentally splitting their pants. HUNTER TYLER thought this was a birthday party and looks really confused when the banners say “CONGRATULATIONS CLEA AND TONY!” VOLUNTEER TEN is starstruck after finding out that Tony and the Hugh Christian were friends in college. DANNY LYNCH accidentally wraps ELVERA MACLAVER in a hug from behind, mistaking them for someone else. They avoid each other for the rest of the night.
AT FIVE PM SHARP, Clea and Tony welcome their guests to the Cox farm in celebration of their recent engagement. Under Clea’s strict guidance, she commandeered one of her family’s hay barns for a dance floor and to house the food they were serving. Don’t worry - no animals have ever been housed in this one, so it’s perfectly clean and free of bad smells. Since they’re on a farm, she rolled with the rustic theme and played up its charm with wildflowers in mason jars, repurposed wood, and simple white linens. As favors, everyone can take home some freshly jarred jam!
GUESTS ARE INVITED TO ENJOY an open bar (please drink responsibly!), a buffet-style spread, and dessert for days, including cupcakes, a full-size cake, and cake pops. For dinner, there’s finger foods for the kids (and any adult in the mood chicken fingers) and a simple Italian-inspired fare for everyone else, as well as some of Tony and Clea's favorite foods. (Shout out to Wynnie Llewellyn for helping with the catering!) There’s a photo booth for people to take pictures with, and a table set up for anyone to write down their best wishes for the couple. STAY AS LONG AS YOU LIKE, or at least until Mama and Papa Cox want their barn back.
