Good evening, everyone! I wanted to reach out and see if maaaaybe anyone wants in on plot with Mr. Rosier. I'm having too much fun dropping hints to all the oblivious characters who DON'T know he was a wanted, murderous Death Eater back in his world, let alone his little side/serial hobby. I'd love for some people to be a bit suspicious of his extracurriculars.

He has a very particular taste in women, so he won't be stalking your womenz. But if anyone wants to pick up on his little hints, I'd be delighted.

He's currently very interested in law enforcement. He thinks it's important to keep an eye on people who are most likely to sniff him out.

Hey guys! Just a reminder to sign up for the thread partner challenge here. If you and your partner each tag 2 times (so the comment counter reads 4 or more) that log will count for 30 points! Also if needed, I can give prompts/locations. I will be posting the pairings Monday around 6 PM EST. So you have until 5 PM EST to sign up. Currently there are 31 characters participating (don't worry about being an odd one off! I will make sure everyone who wants to do this will have a partner).

Also! I am asing for some volunteers for the next part of the plot for the demons. There are three things you can volunteer for and they are all mutually exclusive. Meaning, if you sign character A up for option A, they are unable to do option B or C. Comments are screened.


Please make note of who/what you are volunteering for.

Edit: Please keep in mind that not everyone is going to be able to have every character in this plot (hence why there are limited spots!). As such, please don't sign up all your toons.

Option A Puppet (15/34 claimed)
You are now under demonic influence/oppression. This is a gradual thing as slowly the dark creatures exert their influence over you. You are not possessed(not yet anyway). You experience heightened emotions and lowered inhibitions. Your thoughts are not even your own at this point. Often you're plagued by thoughts of doubt (some bordering on paranoia), hopelessness, grief, worry. Your body will feel somehow heavier. Depending on the type of demon (to be discussed with me) your appetite for physical pleasures (food, sex, luxury, blood, etc) may or may not be increased and your thoughts more consumed with that. You will be irritated by holy water/objects but there will be no marks left behind if they are used on you. Those with supernatural abilities/knowledge will not be able to notice anything supernaturally different.


Option B Walking Nightmare (10/26 claimed)
Everyone daydreams. What happens when those daydreams turn into nightmares? Every so often, you witness an unsettling hallucination. They start out very mild and short, only a quick flicker of a feeling or vision. These fears may not even relate to yours. As they go on, the sensations envelope more senses and are going to draw you in more and more with specifics sights, sounds and sensations that are tailored to you.


Option C The Fade (5/8 claimed)
You are stuck in dreamland. It's not as if the thought of waking up hasn't occurred to you. Sometimes, when the dream is good, you don't feel like it. Other times, when the nightmares come, you are unable to. If someone shakes your shoulder, during your more lucid moments, you can feel and even respond to them. You, however, are unable to move your body at all. Or even open your eyes.(Yes, you can communicate through the network. Your thoughts, all of them, translate directly into communications on the board as you will them there. As time goes on, you'll gain better control over this, so you're not sharing your every little thought as you try to communicate with others).

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllloooooo players of Belore! I am Discord! Tomorrow just happens to be my kind of day so I thought I'd drop by. I thought you wouldn't mind. I'm bringing a few tricks with me.

Starting at midnight (EST), cars will be made out of cotton candy! While there will be sunshine, expect a forcast of chocolate rain all day long! For those of you at the beach, beware the barking fish! Oh and the Sharknado that will be happening around noon. I hear those are common occurrences in movies now. Oh but some of my favorite things are the rabid grannies (think walking dead but they're still living! the horror!) and killer tomatoes!

The following things may happen to certain characters in game (player decided)
-Characters who were 'declared' as warriors may be turned into earth ponies (a la my little pony: friendship is magic) or other animals
-Characters who were 'declared' as magic users may be turned into unicorns (a la my little pony: friendship is magic) or other animals
-Characters who weren't given any of these options may be turned into pegasi (a la my little pony: friendship is magic) or other animals
-Characters may start speaking in only rhyme (or iambic pentameter)
-Buildings may be floating in mid air or even upside down
-It will be day and night at the same time (a line will literally be drawn in the sand between 'day' and 'night')
-You may run into famous meme characters such as grumpy cat, Philsoraptor, Awkward Penguin, Sad Panda, etc, who are doing just what their memes say/do and are interactive with you!
-Cartoon style physics! (Anyone have only a headache after an anvil drops on their head?)
