Hey guys! Plot update here!

As some of you may have seen, there's someone lurking around playing Pitch Black from Rise of the Guardians. At this point in time, if Pitch tags your network posts, you will not see any journal name or picture. Instead, treat it like an anonymous reply. For anyone who would like a thread/log with Pitch, feel free to drop a line here or in the mod drop box.

In the meantime, no, you will not see Pitch (literally or figuratively) running around Daytona. In his canon, belief (which for him is both in himself and the amount of energy he can draw up through fear) fuels his ability to show himself. Only those who truly believe in him/fear him will see him... and that's if he decides to come out of the shadows/darkness. More information on Pitch can be found here.

Hey guys! Just giving you a quickie heads up! I updated the employment page with lots of new locations/employment spots! Remember your characters will probably need money at some point as they only start with $1000 with the intent that they do secure a job. Also, certain locations will definitely crop up for plot points at various points in the game! By no means is this list all there is to Daytona beach. If you guys want or need something added, just lemme know.


The hotel is also going to have a few things added to it! We are adding a garden as well as a stable. As with the city, if there's something you think should be added to the hotel, send me a note.

I'm baaaaack from vaca!

anyone miss me??

As my lovely invisible co-mod said in her post, I'm still recovering from falling off a cliff surgery. I know there's a lot of apps and such to go through, and I thank you guys for being so patient with me as I'm still recovering.

They almost blew a vein while trying to put my IV in, but the surgery went well. They cleaned up a cartridge flap and calcium deposits in my knee that was causing it to crack and pop - painfully, I might add. I'm on pretty pain medications that make me forget that the world exists for a few hours at a time. I get my bandages taken off later tomorrow (Friday) so maybe I can bend my leg without it feeling like it weighs a million pounds. What I'm looking forward to the most, though, is being able to sleep comfortably (because it sucks trying to sleep on my back, so much).

So this is just a pointless update in what's going on. The notes on the bottom of the reserved and application pages are still there, but without dates, since I'm not sure when I'm going to be free from bed rest.

Just be good until I come back for sure. Don't blow stuff up.
