[public: did someone mention crazy? -- someone is playing the piano in room 201...]
Ginger ale was in fact invented by a doctor. However, I'm fairly certain that more than one party was involved in the act of its purloining; thus, let us then say that it was naively conspired. Purloined!? Why, yes. All ideas are stolen from the realm of the-not-yet-known. Inevitably, each idea is thrown into a mess of plenty of ideas, of which is called reality. Where it is then evidently carbonated and shuffled with ginger, madagascan vanilla, star anise, and other like spices which are subtle, yet bring out the poignant monologue of the stomach easing ginger ale blend.

What I mean to say, is that mostly anything created by doctors is in fact safe, drinkable, and often edible. For the respect of the brain-children of science, I indulge in medicine. Why don't you? I have a prescription. There's a cold going around. Does anyone have a cold? The sniffles? The wiffles? Feeling unlike yourself? I can help. I'm very helpful and thoughtful. My moon is in Pisces.

nOW FOR MY NEXt trick, I'll need a volunteer--don't fret folks!

... The last one only spent two weeks in the ICU ...

sHOULD i SEE you and feel you may be needing some yourself, I'll do well to suggest for your sake. My observation skills are as astute, impeccable, and infallible as Galileo. I will be able to tell if you have an ailment requiring cough medicine. Of course, my opinion and kindness are all given through the abundance and goodness of my heart, whereas that wretched doctor would tell the world that HE invented ginger ale ALONE and by HIMSELF! For this my face is sad for you.

Let the poem I wrote for you explain:

I once was drunk, but now I'm not.
I awoke with a brighter day than night!
In time I slept and I forgot,
After dreaming hard with all my might!

You're into natural healing? Or do you just prefer dramatic entrances?

Both. Why choose to be one or the other, when there are so very many things to be at the same time?

But if you're too many things, don't you worry that you'll end up being nothing at all?

It solely depends on what you're going to inform me of what Faulkner is. I could be from anything. However, I'm sure now you'll retract your information considering I've told you to inform me. Don't. :)

Everything is capable of getting stranger. It all depends on your subjective idea of strange actually is. Do fake spiderwebs in a haunted house make it stranger? Or the statues of disfigured former occupants?

But you spend all this time sharing with us the illustrious qualities of ginger ale? Not exactly medical, even if it is medicinal.

[info]clowning

I haven't spent any time. I still have all the time in the world. In the bank of time, I've got much left over. Enough for you, even, if you should be requiring some. You're correct. Ginger ale is medicinal where cough medicine is... clearly medicine. I wonder if the two can be mixed, making them both medicinal and medicine. A medicinal medicine.

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]arcere
2010-06-16 07:30 pm UTC (link)
You could technically say that all the time in the world is only 24 hours, since that's all the time the world will ever be able to hold at once, which means you've got ... oh, another 23 hours and some to tell me more about ginger ale.

Being medicine implies being medicinal. You're getting redundant. And high

Again, you are correct. Perhaps not though, for those, who like Einstein, know time is but an illusion which is non-linear, and for the most part self-imposed. But I've the rest of my life if I so choose, to inform you about ginger ale. Life itself seems to be the longest thing we're given, don't you find?

I don't know about everything created by doctors being safe, drinkable, and often edible. Just because a doctor created a type of soda, it doesn't mean that all doctors will create a type of soda! That would be like saying that just because I'm a redheaded gir woman and work at a museum, all redheaded women must work at museums! And that would just be silly.

(Reply to this) (Thread)

[info]clowning
2010-06-16 06:51 pm UTC (link)
I like your style, but you bring sophistries and misunderstandings. Allow me to elaborate:

If all redheaded women worked at museums, then one could say that not all of them must work at a museum in order to be redheaded. In fact, one could instead say that redheaded women work at museums in and of themselves, and quite possibly through the logic of free will, thus making it so that most redheaded women do prefer working at museums, rather than redheaded women having to, by this being implied by "must".

And so, as doctors not all of the time compose special remedies for human kind, they do not have to. They do, however, gain notoriety and praise when they do. Thus, in conclusion, it is safe to say that what doctors create is drinkable and often edible, for the announcement would not be made should it be in any way untrue.

... You seem ill. Do you need cough medicine?

Equal is even and that leaves things level, and one feels the need to keep up to speed and never let them unbalance. But odd is open, with a profusion of potential, so it can keep going unlimitlessly, don't you agree?

I make this odd for you again; we've switched roles. And now...

Indeed, I do.

There's much to say about flaw and imperfection. They are great conversation pieces. They're as well, and unfortunately, subject to personal prejudice and injustice for this controversial fact and often novel fact. Another mans trash is another mans treasure.

For me, I do enjoy symmetry and beauty, in life and in my reverie. Not all things are beautiful, nor ugly, don't you see. And thus, I gladly greet the change with glee. All things are different to a certain degree, of this, can you not agree?
