Today, I am happy and grateful for everything that has been provided to me and mine. I do not often spout platitudes, and yet I have found myself feeling overwhelmed with pleasant thoughts.

You all have a part in that, especially that of Jane.

Ok. Me and Rhodey, we have a bromance. You and Steve have a bromance. It's where you're really close friends with a guy that you like hanging out with, but you're not that close where you're dating them. I mean, you could look it up on the Urban Dictionary? But that's a dangerous place. Trust me, you never want to know what a Louisiana Steamboat is. Just avert your eyes at everything else, because that's like a wikihole and yes, damn it, I'm speaking in English.

Anyway. Point Break is in English. And it's a bromance. Right up there with Lethal Weapon 2, which you probably should see too. The exploding toilet scene? Bromantic.

Hey, NOPE, I warned him it was dangerous! And he's old enough to adult. Hypothetically, if he wants to fall into that festering pit, he could ~~look up all the things that contain the word 'thunder' on there and~~ learn all about the dark underbelly of Earth slang. And then there's Wikipedia, and they have some super colorful artwork and photographs. I know. I've looked. There's some things you can't unsee on Wikipedia.

Didn't anyone explain to Thor about ye olde yay or nay of the internet? Doesn't he know the glory of joyofsocks.com? Gosh. I'm glad I'm helping.

That reminds me that I gotta finish another brainwave scan and voice recordings for the new Stark Phone that's coming out. I'm gonna be my own version of Siri, helping people all over the place.

	You get a lot done when you ~~don't sleep for two days a time~~ jam a lot into the schedule, and have a virtual assistant/operating system wired into everything. Oh, and there's Quill. 	I'm doing it right now, while working on two more sets of body armor, some new compounds and composites to mix up, non-lethal ammo to blast around, tasers to fry things with, running some last minute tests on stuff for tensile strength, edge retention and overall wear resistance.... 	Urban Dictionary is a reliable source of names of sex acts. A bromance is a close friendship between two men. We're not so great at letting men show affection so we contextualize it as if they had a romantic relationship, although they do not. The idea being that if they were so inclined, men in a bromance would date each other. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Don't you have a bestie that's a guy, Thundar? It's like your best friend and you're super close, but there's no sexy times involved. If they need a hug after salting their beer with their tears, you aren't shy about giving them one. It used to be considered unmanly to do that crap, talking to your buddy for hours on the phone or hugging it out if he's having a bad time. It's like a lot of girls have the Gal Pal to talk to, and some guys have the Bromance Buddy. Rhodey and I flip each other shit all of the time, but we've thrown down with some hugs. I have a Bromance with Rhodey. Even Pep knows it.

Sometimes there's girl and guy Besties who are close like that too. If they take a trip to Pound Town then that's not a friendship, but more a friends-with-benefits situation (trust me, those never work out) or you're in a hot and heavy relationship (and a breakup leaves you without a girlfriend AND best friend). You gotta have more boundaries there or things can get weird. And also, any actual girlfriends get suspicious about a guy being besties with a girl. So just no.
