There is a certain Captain who is having his 100th birthday in four days! This is deserving of a celebration with fireworks, barbecue, cornhole, the works! I realize that this is pretty last minute, and I even questioned if I could pull something together this close to the event. Turns out that yes. Yes I can! So

Join us at Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty where we will celebrate the birthday of our country and Steve Rogers! There will be grilled foods of all kinds, barbecue, beverages for all tastes, ice cream and pastries. Games will include a cornhole contest, something called putt-putt baseball and volley ball.

Everything will begin at 3pm, with ferries starting to run at 2:30pm. Stay around until 10pm when a fireworks display will top everything off!

No RSVP required. Just show up.

Then you weren't privy to the sort of quality conversation my brother might provide, as far as the telling tales of battle was concerned?

Thank the Norns! I shudder to think how I am portrayed past my recent transgressions, of which I am attempting to rectify. If it is anything close to what the equally uncouth Fandral and Volstagg dredged up for a lark, after far too many drinks? Then it is likely horrifying and involves my siring all sorts of bloodthirty creatures.

Or giving birth to a horse, as a rather obnoxious tale is part of Midgard's mythology now.

	No. I'm leaning more on the opening a portal into space and allowing a hostile alien race in to take over the planet which directly resulted in my fiance going through said portal with a nuclear missile with the odds against him coming back. That leaves an impression, y'know? A new building for the Avengers, obviously. (Reply to this) (Parent)
