Danica had gotten used to having someone in her bed at all times now. Eyes closed, she held Kara close, the blonde's head tucked under her chin so that her beautiful space goddess had the song of her heart to find comfort in and sleep. With her arms wrapped firmly around the other girl's waist, she kept the pillows around them in a perfect set up so that they felt secured. This was one of the night Danica slept, though she had made it a habit to lay with Kara every night with eyes closed to meditate and be with her lover.

Today was a special day. Wonder Woman had conversed privately with Kara the night before when Danica had gone out to 'run an errand' for her mother. Wonder Woman had revealed that today was Danica's birthday. While Diana had wanted to spend the day with her daughter alone, she also knew that Danica was not willing to spend the day without Kara. Asking Kara to spend the day with her daughter, the older heroine had humbled herself and hoped that the blonde would honour her request. The day after, Diana would take them both out on the town as another gift to Danica.

Now, Danica didn't know about this. Nor did she know about Kara's plans. The dark haired goddess only knew one thing that morning. That Kara was in her arms, and that was all she could ask for.

Stephanie had been going to school and living with Chrissy for the past month. Waking up on Saturday mornings was currently one of the best things in life!

Rolling over onto her side, she snuggled back into Chrissy, enjoying the feeling of the older girl draped around her. Closing her eyes, Stephanie waited for her older counter part to wake up. Today was the first day they were going out to patrol...well, tonight.She didn't know what time Chrissy was planning on!

Told to stay put, and shaken off, Danica saw Kara zoom off and it angered her. But her anger had no effect on anything. Without her powers, she was just a mortal. She couldn't stop Kara, she could't help Kara.

Going downstairs, she called for Diana, but there was no answer... ---

Stephanie shrugged. She wasn't as chipper as she had been before. The altercation with Kara was kind of dampening. She gave Danica kudos for not starting up with Chrissy, she wondered what kind of control that had taken, but the blonde had gone straight for her.

Why?

"He is awkwardly cute?" she tried.

Kara flew out and up, high above Metropolis. Listening carefully, she filtered out all the noises like Clark had taught her. Focusing on the names she wanted to hear, she flew to the nearest site and crashed through the roof.

"Prepare to be destroyed."

Chrissy looked at Steph askance.

"I don't even know what that means."

Because of the cop cars blocking the lane in front of the theater, the limo was waiting for them towards the back of the parking lot where there was less cars. Halfway there, the pervert that Chrissy had kicked in the face earlier stepped in their way. Pulling out a gun, he pointed it at them.

"Fucking bitches! Take off your tops!" He screamed at them.

The followers gasped as the blonde came crashing through the roof of their temple. The ones at the alter fell back into it, sending the statue behind it tumbling and shattering on the ground.

"Wh-who are you?!" Some demanded as other immediately drew daggers. This was a temple of Eris, where most their worshippers were in private practice, this ones were avid followers and didn't care of the public.

"He's broody. Like you. Except he looks like a brooding bulldog puppy that it's cute." Stephanie explained. And he used a power and arrows and did all sort of acrobats and fought with his hands!

Not expecting to see someone draw a gun on them, Stephanie paused for a moment. What should they do? She knew what she should do, but she had just been strangled by Kara. Her body wasn't reacting as fast as she wanted...

"The whirlwind. Reap my vengeance," Kara snarled.

She totally ripped that off some action movie, but she bet they wouldn't know! Using her super strength and speed, she struck them until they were all dead. Then she flew up and out, turning her laser beam eyes upon the temple and turning it into a melted lump. Flying to the next closest temple of worshippers, she repeated the process...

"I am not broody. That isn't even a real word I bet. Even if I was...then I would be damn cute at it," Chrissy grumbled.

Then they were being threatened by the pervert. With a gun. He had no clue what trouble he was getting himself into. Christina Wayne glared at the man, giving him alook that could kill.

"You have one chance to walk away now, before this ends badly for you again. Walk away...now," Chrissy threatened in a soft, icy tone.

Their attacker didn't get the clue. Instead he got irate, drooling a little as he stuck the gun in Stephanie's face.

"Shut the fuck u-" he began before Chrissy became a blur.

Grabbing the gun hand and yanking it towards her and away from Stephanie, she twisted it until the wrist snapped. The man cried out in pain, Chrissy yanking the gun out of his hand and clocking him against the back of his head with it. He dropped like a sack of potatoes and began whimpering. Pissing his pants as Chrissy ground the gun against his temple.

"Give me one good reason not to pull this trigger," Chrissy demanded. The man was sniveling and crying now, snot and drool running down his face. "I'm sorry," he croaked.

The only difference with this temple was that there was a war already waging inside of it when she crashed through the roof. The clang of metal on metal and war cries echoed the halls of the vast temple, this one being bigger than the one Kara had previously been too.

On top of a raised dais at the other end of the hallway were two figures, one clad in gold, armor shimmering like hope in a sea of blood, and the other like the harbinger of doom. With every blow successfully landed on the shield, of the golden clad armor bearer, something shimmered and a new piece of armor made itself present.

Another war cry went up as the light figure landed another blow on the darker armored enemy.

"You are."

Chrissy acted before Stephanie, which was rather brutal, in fact. Chrissy got crazy! Seeing her take the man down easily, she reacted once her girlfriend had the gun at the man's head. Not for her girlfriend's safety, she knew Chrissy could handle a gun, but for the would be rapists...

"Chrissy, no." She said quickly, trying to figure out what to do. Looking around, she found rope lying about. Grabbing it, it was dirty, but it would have to work. Going to the man, she tied his hands behind his back, seeing that his wrist was broken...this rope was going to hurt him even more...

Next she tied his legs, and propped the man against the wall. He reeked of urine...grabbing a permanent marker from her back pockets, she scarwled across his head 'I am a rapist' and stepped back. Pulling out her cellphone next, she quickly called it in to the police, giving them directions to the alley before grabbing Chrissy.

"Take the gun with you. It's got your prints already." she told the older girl, grabbing her arm. Chrissy better put the safety on! "Police are on their way. Let's go. Please?"

Kara didn't care who they were. If they were here, then they were her enemies. Picking up a chunk of the caved in roof where she had punched through it, she threw it at the figures fighting. Both looked ridiculous...how she hated these Earthling gods.

"Are you crazy?"

Chrissy couldn't believe it! Steph was going to tie him up and leave him for the cops to pick up? They weren't in costume, he had seen him and could identify them to the police. Sooner or later the police would catch up to them.

"Grrr," she grumbled when asked to go.

For Steph, she went. Hurrying to the limo, she got in and told the driver to go back to Wayne Tower Metropolis. Once Steph was in, the limo sped up just as cops that were in the theater ran out and over to where they had been. Great! Now the cops had seen the limo! Crossing her arms, Chrissy slid down in her seat, in a dark mood. The limo didn't stop until they reached Wayne Tower. As the driver got out to open the door for them to get out, Metropolis police cars with lights flashing pulled up and surrounded the limo. Cops poured out and drew their pistols.

"Exit the vehicle with your hands up! Back away from the vehicle! Down on the ground! Get down! Down on the sidewalk!" The various cops yelled over and over again, the limo driver doing as ordered, laying down on the sidewalk with his hands behind his head.

The figures ended up breaking apart as the wall hit between them, sending them flying in different directions. Both helmets came off, the clattering of metal hitting the ground. On the other end, Erebos laid for a moment, stunned but he got up faster than his opponent.

At the opposite end, dark hair spilled out of the golden help, the only removable piece of armour on her body. Blinking, Danica's ears rang as she tried to make sense of what just happened. Nothing came to mind, but she knew she had to move her shield in front of her! Another loud clang, and a small burst of light and Danica was up, kicking her brother off her. Rolling to the side, she grabbed her sword and rolled once more, barely missing another strike.

"You aren't a murderer and I'm not going to be an accessory to a murder. Whatever, we'll get charged with Battery maybe, but there's a reason why my hands are almost always in my pockets." Stephanie had learned to be resourceful, unfortunately, due to her father.

Eventually, the police caught up with them. For metro police, they were defintely toting some rather...modern pistols. What happened to the high tech laser hand guns they had made public in the show case a few years ago?

Doing exactly as told, the blonde didn't really mind doing it. The police were doing their jobs, Chrissy and Steph were victims of attempted rape and assault, threatened with a weapon and reacted in self defence. They were the victims.

Some god that looked like Danica! It only made Kara angrier that some prankster god would wear the face of her Amazon girlfriend. Tearing chunks out of the wall and ceiling, she threw them at the two battling gods.

She hated them so much...her eyes were beginning to glow red...

The police swarmed in once they were all down on the sidewalk. They all looked angry, and treated them roughly. Hauling them away to separate squad cars, they threw them in the back and shut the doors. Detectives arrived, searched the limo, found the gun, bagged it and took photos.

Cops came and got into the squad cars, driving away from the scene. Taken to the nearest police station, they were led handcuffed out of the cars and into the police station. Processed and fingerprinted, they were then led into a room where other blonde girls waited. A line up. The limo driver was nowhere to be seen.

It wasn't just any god, it was Danica! About to attack again, Danica was cut off once more as chunks of the wall and ceiling were tossed at the two battling gods. One hit Erebos, which was good, but Danica now had to worry about not getting hit with wall and ceiling, and not getting cut in half.

Diana was on the other side of the room, fighting a titan, Perses, who thrived on destruction. That was exactly what was happening to the temple, it was being destroyed by the war waging inside of it. Glancing over her shoulder when she knocked the titan back into the wall, she noticed Kara finally arrived, but she was throwing chunks of marble at her daughter and Erebos!

"Kara! No!" She shouted, flying away from her own opponent. Grabbing Kara's arm, she pulled it back, forcing her to drop the chunk of wall.

It was a good thing Stephanie was a minor. This was going to be fun. Looking over at Chrissy, she knew her girlfriend was fuming but she wasn't going to let her go down the path of villany! Glancing at the other girls, the younger blonde had to wonder why they were in the line up.

Looking at the giant reflective mirror window before them, the blonde waited patiently. How long would this take? And how mad was Chrissy going to be?

Her arm grabbed, Kara immediately used her arm as leverage to catapult hr newest attacker across the room. She didn't care where the attacker went or what happened to her. Kara was locked into a Kryptonian berzerk rage, she was going to destroy all those who had wronged her!

Flying across the room, she aimed at Erebos...

A few minutes later, a cop came in and they were led out. The other girls were taken single file elsewhere, while Chrissy and Steph were split up and taken to separate interrogation rooms. Two detectives waited for Steph in her interrogation room.

"Sit down," the first detective, a large Asian man with a ponytail orders.

The other detective, a small, older woman with close-cropped grey hair is browsing the contents of a file folder. "Brown, Stephanie...you have been in trouble before?"

As Diana went flying, she was easily able to orient herself before hitting the ground. Seeing Kara fly straight at the fighting two, Diana didn't know what was about to happen.

The clang of metal on metal resounded once more as Erebos' sword glanced off Danica's shield, the female goddesses throwing the shield and hitting him in the chest. Running towards him, she raised her sword as she went to hit him but was stopped short as Erebos stumbled and Danica was hit by Kara.

Falling to the ground, her sword skidded away from her...

Stephanie sat in her chair, looking at the other woman.

"Not that I can remember, but you know, trouble is a relative term." She answered, wondering if she was going to be the good cop...or bad cop...

Hitting the wrong target, it didn't matter to Kara. So long as she hit something. Stopping at the point where she hit the god, she whirled around to face the other god who had been her first target. Red eyes glowing, they unleashed a great blast of energy at Erebos that destroyed that whole section of the temple behind him.

"Cute," the ponytailed detective remarked sarcastically.

Ponytail circled the table, glaring at Stephanie. The woman sat on the other side of the small table, not looking any friendlier then her partner.

"If you want to stay out of trouble, why don't you give us a written confession of what your friend did. She is going away to prison for a long time, but you could escape with two years in juvie. Less if you display good behavior. But only if you cooperate with us. Tell us about how your friend assaulted the governor's son twice, and how she tried to murder him."

Danica got up...but slowly. Her movements were slow and difficult...

Erebos looked at his new opponent. And recognized her!

"The blonde babe my sister is dating." He laughed, shaking his head with amusement. This was quite the turn! But he also knew she was the one destroying his temples.

"Your girlfriend's here to die." He told Danica, his smile settling into a snarl.

"I try."

Stephanie wasn't going to be the one to crack. Watching the lady circle around the table, she tilted her head to the side.

"Let me try something here. You find this man in an alley way, after a phone call for attempted rape and you don't investigate what happened? Sorry, I don't deal with rape apologists."

Stephanie sat back. She was trying to get the full story out of the woman about what the guy had said. Why? because it would help.

Kara was across the room in an instant. He hand grasped Erebos jaw, her hand squeezing with all her might as she sought to crush it. Her other hand began to deliver body blows to the god's stomach and kidneys.

Supergirl let out a scream of rage...

"Rape?" the woman shakes her head and gestures to her partner.

He comes over and places an ipod on the table. The woman presses a button and the 911 call Stephanie placed plays. Except she calls in to say that her friend is trying to kill a boy she tried to rob, and that he needed medical attention. There was no mention of rape.

"We have over two dozen witnesses that state that your friend assaulted this young man in the theater and in the parking lot. We have her prints on the gun we found in the limousine, no one else's. We know your friend has a history of being emotionally unbalanced and violent. We even have security camera footage of both assaults on him. Stop trying to cover for her by inventing a story of attempted rape."

His jaw wouldn't break that easily. To him, it was like she was grabbing his face firmly. The punches did hurt on a regular level though, and it was enough to make him angry. Roaring, the god drew his arm back and punched Kara in the stomach, knocking her off of him.

Reaching out, he summoned his sword from the ground, the weapon flying to him as he went to punch her again.

"Why would I invent a story to cover for her if I was the one to allegedly place the call? How do you even know that was me? People can sound the same, you know.

Leaning forward, she looked at them both. She knew where they were wrong from what they had told her. "Though...on the other hand. I want a lawyer. Kate Spencer."

Barely feeling the punch, Kara flew right back at him. Ignoring the sword, it was a godly weapon meant to hurt gods. Kara was no god, it couldn't hurt her anymore then his fists could. Only one thing could actually hurt her...

"Die!"

Her fists flew fast and furious, striking at him anywhere they could.

"You didn't want her to kill an innocent. You know, go too far," Ponytail explained.

The woman scooted back in her chair.

"Fine. Take her to the phone and let her call her lawyer, then take her to lock-up."

Ponytail nodded, and a uniformed cop opened the door. Grasping Stephanie's arm, he began to lead her to the phone used by the criminals for their one phone call.

"That's usually my line." Erebos grunted as he was hit again. Shaking it off, he began to fight back, not as fast as Kara for this one, but still trying to keep from getting hit.

Danica finally stood up, looking around. None of the amazons were dead, yet. Which was good. It was only as far as she could see though. Turning her attention back to Kara, she didn't know why the blonde kept knocking her around! Grabbing her sword, she knew she couldn't two team Erebos. It was dishonorable.

"Kara!" Danica called, stretching her arm out and summoning her shield. It was very Captain America-y, but the shield was bound to her.

Nodding as Stephanie was taken out, she was taken to a phone where she waited patiently.

"Excuse you, privacy." She said, shooing ponytail away and planting a small device on the bottom of the phone. It was a scrambler and recording device. Making the call, no one could trace it, or listen in on it.

"Hey Kate, yeah, it's me. I've got a favor to ask..."

Kara was ignoring everything else but trying to kill the god before her. He had hurt Danica...he would pay for that. Her blows kept coming faster and harder, her lips pulled back into a grimace of rage. She wasn't going to relent or wear out...

Snorting, ponytail turned and walked down the hall. He and the uniform remained within eyesight of her, chatting. Of Chrissy there was no sign.

"Is it true?" the uniform asked the detective. Ponytail nodded. "I hear the governer is pushing the prosecuter to go for the death penalty, even though she didn't kill the victim." The uniform shook his head. "Jesus. Guess it is what she deserves."

Kara had hurt Danica too.

Sheathing her sword. She had to make a choice. Let Kara kill him and get his powers...or she could kill him. Grimacing, she knew this was not going to end well.

Running at Kara, she proceeded to tackle her. Kara would not get hurt by Danica's armor...her skin was like steel. Erebos collapsed to the ground, gripping his sword as he spit up blood.

Stephanie heard the rumors.

She couldn't pay mind to them though. Kate and she will work on this case together.

Chrissy would be let go.

Within an hour's time, the front desk was in a ruckus as Kate came down. She was a libraian at the Wayne Library in Gotham, someone Stephanie had actually spent a lot of time with, and a lawyer.

"Give me my client." Kate demanded. They couldn't hold Stephanie.

Tackled, Kara flew into what was left of the temple wall...and then through it. Grabbing that which attacked her, she flung it off like an irksome monkey or icky spider. Getting back up, she snarled then flew back into the temple.

Crashing into the god, she grabbed the sword and slammed the length of the blade into his face. Kicking him in the face next, she yanked on the sword. Godly weapons hurt gods? Then she would use his to hurt him again. Hurt him so badly he wouldn't dare come near Danica again.

After an hour of arguing, feet dragging, and paperwork, Stephanie was free on $5,000 bail. Chrissy was still locked up somewhere, maybe not even in this building anymore. But Stephanie was free...until her juvenile court date.

Danica groaned again. Is this really what it felt like to be mortal and thrown around? It sucked!

"Where is Danica?" Someone asked, looking around. "We have twenty minutes until her powers return! Erebos is still alive!"

Erebos growled as the blade licked his face, leaving a deep gash. A kick was delivered to his fresh wound, making it squirt some.

Good thing Kate was a big time lawyer. She had the money for it...

Kate took Stephanie home, giving the girl some clean clothes and telling her to wash up. Fixing her a small lunch, they soon got to work. Stephanie pulled out her phone, making Kate shake her head.

"What?"

"You and technology...really, you two should just get married." Kate joked.

"You're welcome for updating the entire library system." Stephanie rolled her eyes, taking a usb cable and hooking it up to her laptop. Pushing her laptop back slightly, Stephanie began to get to work as Kate began to review her books and notes from what she gathered at the crime scene and looking for the obvious falsifying of facts.

"We're going to take you to a PI's office with a certified lie detector machine to pull a report on that as well." Kate mumbled, never once looking up.

"Kay." Steph agreed, feeds from the cameras of the movie theater and the ones on the outside in the alley.

	Yanking the sword out of his grasp, Kara swung it around. Slashing at his sword arm at the elbow, she then reversed the blade and leaned back as she swung with all her might at his legs. He wouldn't be much of a threat without limbs... (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Danica was too busy trying to get to her feet. The words didn't quite reach her ears, so by the time she was back to where she had started, another chose to intervene.

"Where do you think you're going, brat?"

The voice, that was more shrill than anything Danica had ever heard, was the only sister she hated the most. Eris. Turning to face the goddess, she groaned once more.

"How many times do I have to say that you can't fight?" Danica mocked, making sure her shield was ready. The blade in the other's hand looked incredibly sharp...

Eris let out a shriek, bringing her arm up violently before launching the long bladed knife at Danica, with all intents on killing the girl.

Danica raised her shield, twisting to the side and angling the blade to fly past her, it went right over Kara's shoulder and into Erebos' chest. It pierced his heart, the god looking shocked, his gaze rising as it settled on Eris with wide eyes. A moment later, there was a dark flash, and Erebos was no more, having collapsed in on himself and disappeared.

Eris stood stunned.

Danica too. Eris had killed another god, while a god. There was only one thing that would happen.

So...he was killed. Kara was very annoyed. She had wanted him to live on and suffer through life as a cripple. Instead he would be free to find a new host or whatever.

Groaning in annoyance, she took off, flying away from the ruined temple. Searching for other temples, she continued her rampage of destruction.

Elsewhere...

"Someone is hacking into the police mainframe." "Trace them, then send a team to eliminate them." "Yes, Mister Luthor."

At Wayne Tower Metropolis, satellites swung into position far, far overhead. Unmarked vans and helicopters hurried to the skyscraper, green suited commandoes emerging from the vans to shoot down anything or anyone that moved. Larger things emerged from the backs of some vans...battle-suited commandoes in robotic battle armor with an assortment of weaponry.

On the roof, the helicopters unloaded more commandoes and battle-suited commandoes. They began to make their way downward, the commandoes clearing every floor of anyone living and planting charges before planting explosive charges that were tamper proof. Any attempt to disarm them and they would explode. They worked their way up and down, floor by floor. The helicopters circled, seeking out any movement by windows on the floors not yet cleared by the commandoes and opening fire.

Stephanie, who normally hacked with her own secured laptops, was using Chrissy's. She was unaware that Wayne Corp could be easily traced, but at the moment, she wasn't much into caring.

"Alright, do you have what you need?" Kate asked, hearing the sounds of helicopters outside. It was a good thing she had, the explosions from the bottom floor was a bad sign.

Nodding, Stephanie got up and grabbed her back pack. Putting her jump drive on the necklace she kept it on and closing Chrissy's laptop, she watched as Kate grabbed a shot gun from somewhere. The other woman tossed her a hand gun, to which Stephanie was stunned. A hand gun?!

"Let's get moving then."
