Danica had gotten used to having someone in her bed at all times now. Eyes closed, she held Kara close, the blonde's head tucked under her chin so that her beautiful space goddess had the song of her heart to find comfort in and sleep. With her arms wrapped firmly around the other girl's waist, she kept the pillows around them in a perfect set up so that they felt secured. This was one of the night Danica slept, though she had made it a habit to lay with Kara every night with eyes closed to meditate and be with her lover.

Today was a special day. Wonder Woman had conversed privately with Kara the night before when Danica had gone out to 'run an errand' for her mother. Wonder Woman had revealed that today was Danica's birthday. While Diana had wanted to spend the day with her daughter alone, she also knew that Danica was not willing to spend the day without Kara. Asking Kara to spend the day with her daughter, the older heroine had humbled herself and hoped that the blonde would honour her request. The day after, Diana would take them both out on the town as another gift to Danica.

Now, Danica didn't know about this. Nor did she know about Kara's plans. The dark haired goddess only knew one thing that morning. That Kara was in her arms, and that was all she could ask for.

Stephanie had been going to school and living with Chrissy for the past month. Waking up on Saturday mornings was currently one of the best things in life!

Rolling over onto her side, she snuggled back into Chrissy, enjoying the feeling of the older girl draped around her. Closing her eyes, Stephanie waited for her older counter part to wake up. Today was the first day they were going out to patrol...well, tonight.She didn't know what time Chrissy was planning on!

Danica was too busy trying to get to her feet. The words didn't quite reach her ears, so by the time she was back to where she had started, another chose to intervene.

"Where do you think you're going, brat?"

The voice, that was more shrill than anything Danica had ever heard, was the only sister she hated the most. Eris. Turning to face the goddess, she groaned once more.

"How many times do I have to say that you can't fight?" Danica mocked, making sure her shield was ready. The blade in the other's hand looked incredibly sharp...

Eris let out a shriek, bringing her arm up violently before launching the long bladed knife at Danica, with all intents on killing the girl.

Danica raised her shield, twisting to the side and angling the blade to fly past her, it went right over Kara's shoulder and into Erebos' chest. It pierced his heart, the god looking shocked, his gaze rising as it settled on Eris with wide eyes. A moment later, there was a dark flash, and Erebos was no more, having collapsed in on himself and disappeared.

Eris stood stunned.

Danica too. Eris had killed another god, while a god. There was only one thing that would happen.

So...he was killed. Kara was very annoyed. She had wanted him to live on and suffer through life as a cripple. Instead he would be free to find a new host or whatever.

Groaning in annoyance, she took off, flying away from the ruined temple. Searching for other temples, she continued her rampage of destruction.

Elsewhere...

"Someone is hacking into the police mainframe." "Trace them, then send a team to eliminate them." "Yes, Mister Luthor."

At Wayne Tower Metropolis, satellites swung into position far, far overhead. Unmarked vans and helicopters hurried to the skyscraper, green suited commandoes emerging from the vans to shoot down anything or anyone that moved. Larger things emerged from the backs of some vans...battle-suited commandoes in robotic battle armor with an assortment of weaponry.

On the roof, the helicopters unloaded more commandoes and battle-suited commandoes. They began to make their way downward, the commandoes clearing every floor of anyone living and planting charges before planting explosive charges that were tamper proof. Any attempt to disarm them and they would explode. They worked their way up and down, floor by floor. The helicopters circled, seeking out any movement by windows on the floors not yet cleared by the commandoes and opening fire.

Stephanie, who normally hacked with her own secured laptops, was using Chrissy's. She was unaware that Wayne Corp could be easily traced, but at the moment, she wasn't much into caring.

"Alright, do you have what you need?" Kate asked, hearing the sounds of helicopters outside. It was a good thing she had, the explosions from the bottom floor was a bad sign.

Nodding, Stephanie got up and grabbed her back pack. Putting her jump drive on the necklace she kept it on and closing Chrissy's laptop, she watched as Kate grabbed a shot gun from somewhere. The other woman tossed her a hand gun, to which Stephanie was stunned. A hand gun?!

"Let's get moving then."

The commandoes kept moving floor to floor, killing everyone they encountered whether they were armed or not. As Chrissy's apartment was on an upper floor, the commandoes from the roof were going to reach them first. The elevators were still working and running, as employees used them to flee.

The lobby was a deathtrap though, the floor mined and machinegun emplacements near all the exits to cut down anyone emerging from the elevators or stairwell. The police were not coming...they had been paid off to stay away. All communications were being jammed except for a local radio frequency that was encrypted and being used by the commandoes.

Kate took Stephanie down one level, and straight towards the back of the tower. As most buildings went, there were always neighboring buildings. Kicking out a window, she grabbed one of the hand guns which wasn't a hand gun at all but a grappling hook.

"This should be elementary for you." Shooting it across, it broke the window across the alley way and latched onto the inside. The people at the other end screamed as they weren't expecting it, but Kate and Steph were over in no time, somehow managing to doge a hailstorm of bullets. Taking the stairs all the way to the lower level, they exited the back of the building and disappeared into one of the many back doors presented in the alley.

	The slaughter continued at the tower, until all the floors had been cleared out. The charges set, the commandoes evacuated and left. Behind them, the tower imploded and collapsed in on itself. Wayne Tower Metropolis was no more... (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Chrissy's going to be pissed."

Stephanie knew. Getting all the files off of Chrissy's laptop and the Wayne mainframe in the building had been a good idea on Steph's half, at least.

Kate pushed her into the sports car she drove before taking off.

"She'll have to wait to be pissed."

"No...Chrissy is going to be beyond pissed, Kate." Stephanie sunk into her seat, groaning.

	Speeding around the corner and nearly hitting them was one of the dark vans. A commando leaned out of the passenger side window and began taking potshots at them with a submachine gun. Two other vans joined the chase, as overhead a helicopter kept tabs on the sports car. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Stephanie didn't have her seatbelt on, so when Kate swerved to miss the two vans that came out of no where, she hit the door hard.

"Ow!"

"Put your damn seatbelt on." kate scolded as Stephanie put it on.

"I am! What the hell!

"I just got this care detailed. Take the wheel!"

"Are you sure?!" Grabbing the wheel, she switched places with Kate, before she saw the window rolled down. The shotgun was placed out side the window and shots were taken.

The first shotgun blast caused the van right behind them to swerve. It took off the side mirror of a parked car, but kept going. The gunman in the passenger side kept shooting. One of the vans behind them peeled off, attempting to take another route to cut them off.

Just ahead, the intersection was blocked by a car accident. A speeding taxi cab had tried to beat a red light and hit a SUV. The two drivers were out arguing with each other as traffic waited and honked their horns. From above, the side door of the helicopter opened and a sniper took aim. Firing down at the sports car, if they stopped he would get them...

After destroying the temples to Erebos and Eris, Kara started in on the temples to Ares. For good measure she began attacking the temples to the other gods she knew. Zeus, Apollo, Poseidon, and Athena. She was probably missing some, but ancient Earth mythology bored her.

Stephanie didn't know what to do about that. Looking at how traffic was stopped, she noticed that everyone to the side of the accident was still behing the line of the intersection.

"Should really call that in," she grumbled before swerving off to the side, drifting along as the care did a complete 360 before setting itself back straight onto the street.

Zeus and Poseidon were soon off to see the damage of their temples, both quite angry with the blonde.

Athena, who was just as angry, waited until her neice regained her powers. Once Danica regained her golden glow, she left to help repair the damage, warning Danica to get Kara back and under control. Any further damage could result in something more and much bigger than Danica could handle at the moment.

And so, Danica went to do just that.

"Kara," she called out to the blonde, hovering in midair as she watched Kara destroy yet another temple.

The sniper lined up the perfect shot, waiting for them to stop at the intersection...instead they swerved, and the shot he took blew out the radio. The helicopter veered off, having to make a wide circle to loop around and come after them again.

The van following them accelerated, trying to swerve and follow their maneuver. But the van wasn't as agile, and it lost control and flipped. Rolling along, it slammed into the car accident, including the two arguing drivers. Moments later the van exploded, followed by the taxi cab and the SUV.

The third van stopped, backed up, and went around the long way. The second van arrived just in time to speed out in front of the sports car and drive down the street straight at it...

Kara had just torn a priestess of Athena in half when she heard her name. Looking up, she saw the look-alike of Danica in the ridiculous outfit. Distracted from her carnage, her eyes focused with pure hatred upon the one who dared wear her beloved's face. Brandishing the late Erebos' sword, she flew up and after her next victim.

"Die!" was her war cry as she came at Danica, slashing the sword.

Stephanie gasped, looking down as the radio was shot. Looking at Kate, she turned back to see a van heading straight for them.

There was an alley just ahead of them. A small, thin alley...only big enough for this car.

Kate took another shot at the van behind them, not expecting Stephanie's maneuver.

"Get in!"

Stephanie turned into the Alley, the car fitting almost snuggly as the two vans now sped at each other.

Danica half expected the girl to charge at her. Shaking her head, she grabbed the sword and pulled Kara against her body instead. Would Kara see who it was at a close distance? Or would she continue to attack?

"Kara." She said more softly, pressing her forehead against her head and nuzzling her cheek. "It is I." She said.

The two vans sped at the sport scar, which rounded a corner into an alley. Slamming on their brakes, they barely managed to stop in time before hitting each other. On the other side of the alley, the helicopter waited. The sniper had his rifle trained on the alley entrance, ready to open fire as soon as their targets emerged.

Pushing the imposter away, Kara swung her fist at her. Trying to yank the sword free of the imposter's grasp, she was going to need it in order to kill her.

"Deceiver!"

She knew that Danica was safely at home. Diana wouldn't allow her daughter to leave. Kara wasn't stupid, she wasn't going to fall for this trick!

Instead, the women climbed out of their windows, using the mini shield the building's provided to escape into and down a manhole, picking their way through the sewers. They were definitely going to need a bath...

Danica was pushed away, but she made sure not to let go of the sword. If Kara got one good swing at her with that, she was done for. Blocking the fist, she pushed it off to the side.

"If only I were that good." She told the blonde, knowing Kara would only get angrier. "Ask me anything, something only Danica would know."

Maybe that would work?

The helicopter waited, the commandoes in the van getting out to check the alley. Finding the sports car abandoned and no sign of the targets, they placed an explosive over the fuel tank of the car and left. The sports car exploded, damaging the buildings on either side of it.

Kara didn't ant to talk, she wanted to fight. She didn't believe anything coming out of the imposter's mouth. Struggling to get the sword freed, she kept taking swings at the imposter with her free hand. Kicking at her as well, the temples were safe as long as she was busy fighting Danica.

"Where are we headed?"

Steph wanted to know, she didn't have a clue where they were.

"A hotel." Kate answered simply. She didn't have a place here.

Danica kept hold on the sword, making sure it did not get loose. If it did, she'd be a goner for sure. Kara wasn't giving her a chance to speak. The blonde didn't want to talk from the looks of it.

"Or, you can keep hitting me." Danica said, letting Kara get all her frustration out.

The commandoes had given up...for now. The communications jamming had ended, the vans and helicopters gone. Steph's phone rang, it was Stargirl calling.

She did exactly that. Striking at the imposter again and again. She was getting weaker though...her energy being exhausted. She needed to recharge.

Abandoning the sword and imposter, Kara gave one more hateful look before flying away. Heading into space, she flew to near the sun. Closing her eyes, she let the sun's energy recharge her.

Stephanie grabbed her phone, looking up at the red head before her. Kate nodded, pulling out her own smart phone to find a map of the cities underbelly.

"Star girl?"

Danica watched Kara leave, looking up as she saw that she exited the atmosphere. Danica hadn't gone that high yet. She never had a need to. Deciding it would be best to go home, she would wait there.

"Robin? Robin! Have you seen the news? Chrissy is going on trial for assault and attempted murder...tomorrow!"

Stargirl could hear weird noises in the background...and for some reason there was an echo. Plus the reception was bad.

"Can you hear me? What did you get Chrissy into this time?"

After all the energy she had expended and her being out of shape, Kara was going to be recharging for days. That was alright, though. She knew Danica was safely at home. Diana had promised to keep her safe.

"She was going to kill a dude!" Steph tried to say before her phone cut out. Frowning, she put it back in her pocket before following the older woman up.

"Ill get us a room, then have some clothes brought over for us. We can get Chrissy out."

Danica was going to get restless without Kara. Staying in the house for a few hours, she ventured out again. Where was her lover. Diana was with her too.

"Can I go up there?" She asked her mother, looking into the sky. Wonder Woman glanced up, wondering what hee daughter spoke of.

"What?" Courtney said into the cellphone. "Robin? Robin? Did you hang up on me!?"

Yelling into the cellphone now, the blonde glared at it in her hand. She was so going to find Robin and give her a piece of her mind! Going and putting her costume on, she began to use her magic to track down Robin...

Just as Kate promised, they had a hotel room, hot water and fresh clothes. Stephanie was still upset over the loss of Wayne Tower and not having Chrissy.

Their anniversary was ruined.

Diana went to the door, both she and Danica having freshened up and ready to settle in for the evening. Danica was still anxiousky awaiting Kara's return.

Going to the door, Diana opened it only to be surprised. "Bruce. Come in."

Her magic tracked Robin to a...hotel? WTF!? Chrissy was going to prison and Robin was living the suite life like Zach and Cody? Magicing the room's window open, Courtney crawled inside.

"Where are you Robin!? You never hang upon me!"

Bruce looked angry and worried. Entering a few steps, he rounded on Diana.

"My daughter is in trouble. The Governor wants to execute her. She has rejected counsel and to see me, I am told. She wants to talk to you."

Robin was busy disposing her sewage ridden clothing when her friend came in. Tying up the garbage bag, she threw it in a corner before confronting Stargirl.

"My phone cut out, I was too busy running from commando freaks to worry about my signal strength in the city's sewers."

Letting the man in, she closed the door. Listening to her friend, she nodded. Was this Bruce asking her to go to Chrissy, or did he have something else in mind?

"I will go to her, if you so wish, Bruce."
