Who: Laurie and OTA
Where: Near the front of the school
When: Monday evening, June 28
What: Laurie is wandering around looking for a nice secluded place outside she might be able to hide.
Laurie was starting to feel more comfortable in her room, but at the same time she knew she needed a place to hide that only she would know about. The library was clearly out of the question, as though it was often secluded, people could find her there if they wanted to. The lake was nice, but it was too close to the pool, and since it was summer, that meant there were far too many people there. Overall, it seemed that there weren't many places inside the school that would offer the seclusion the introvert desired, so Laurie made her way outside and was currently exploring the grounds, looking for a place that might have gone overlooked.
The hedge maze had seemed interesting from afar, but Laurie was a bit nervous about the 'maze' part and had kept her distance from it. From the courtyard, where Laurie was currently sitting, there were quite a few paths Laurie had found out she could take, but she was not sure which one to go down first. She heard one led to the garages, but with her luck Regan could be there- after all, she had heard about Regan's car and assumed that's where it would be- and that was far from desirable for Laurie. The wooded area seemed like a possibility, but Laurie had heard there was something living there, though it apparently turned out to be a student here. Still, the idea was enough to spook her and keep her from going there without more light outside.
Sighing, Laurie leaned back and looked at the dimly lit sky, knowing she was running out of light to search in. Looking back to the school, Laurie stood up and brushed herself off, stretching slightly and wondering if now was a good time to head back and get dinner or if she should wait for more people to clear out of the cafeteria. Still stretching as she considered how hungry she really was, Laurie looked up at the sky once more, admiring how nice it looked.
