You'll only be abroad on short assignments. From what I've heard over the years, the longer assignments aren't forced on anyone. That's the scuttlebutt anyway.

Besides, how do you know I won't just hide in your expanding luggage for those trips? You can't get rid of me that easily. Unless that's creepy to say, in which case, ignore this text.

Sofía was a little flushed as she stepped through the Floo. How could she not be after Bash's texts? He'd been so gentle with her since the accident but there was nothing gentle about his suggestive words and it had quickly lit a fire in her, cheeks turning pink as she read them in the same room as her parents. What did it say about her that just a few texts could affect her like that anyway?

Her stamina wasn't quite where it had been before the doxies, but Sofía felt more like herself every day. Another week, she reasoned, and the only trace of the incident would be the small scars on her arms that were now almost completely healed.

Her hands found Bash straight away. "Missed you," she murmured, fingers curling into his shirt as she kissed him.

The moment he'd heard the ding of his phone with her message, he moved from his bed to the kitchen. His siblings weren't here, but he spelled a repel around the kitchen anyway, and a 'wall' of wards that they would be able to see out but others wouldn't be able to see into. Perfect.

She arrived moments later and her hands found his body immediately, and he pushed his shirt up and off, dropping it to the floor. He'd been so patient and careful since she'd been injured and it was killing him. He murmured the same into her lips, moving her body as they kissed so that she was up against the kitchen island, her back gently bumping it. This was there they'd first met. He kissed her fiercely at the memory, recalling how badly he'd wanted to kiss her even that first moment, how beautiful she'd been to him from the very first sight.

Sofía could feel the buzz of the the spells that Bash had thrown up like a protective cocoon around the kitchen but it was nothing compared to the magnetism of the man in front of her. Nothing in the world could have compelled her to take her hands off him. Her lips barely separated from Bash's as she hurriedly unbuttoned her blouse. She only broke the kiss to tug off her glasses which were haphazardly set down to skitter along the island.

Kissing Bash always felt… inevitable. If she was in the same room as him, it was only a matter of time before she had another taste of him. Bash huffed in reaction to what she said, one hand moving from her waist to brush up her now bare torso, settling to cover her bra cup possessively. "This will be your reception after we've been apart for a shower if you want, but please don't be away more than you need to be." There was a strain of desperation in his voice. Why were they talking right now?!

He moved his hands back to her waist to lift her easily onto the counter and hurried to unbutton her jeans and peel them down her perfect legs. He needed her, so badly that he didn't even want to wait the twenty seconds it would take to get to his bedroom.
