Broken Shards of an Empty Mind (Narrative)
Enigma hadn't moved from her place in front of the glass, staring blankly at her reflection, not even seeing it...or anything. She hadn't even noticed when the trap door slid open and Erik’s body fell away, her mind long since gone and lost, the trauma, the terror...the memories she had spent so long burying consuming her in an endless theatre of pain.
She had fallen over sometime after Erik vanished, body simply collapsing, shutting down. She was more unconscious than asleep, a coma coming over her, leaving her dead to the world while her brain tried to reboot, the cracks in the shields around her mind widening, shattering.
