Open to Ivy

Deacon still had no clue how (or why) he'd ended up in the City. But he was reassured, at least, by the fact that he had an apartment, and enough money to get by. He'd decided to spend the next few nights exploring, getting to know this city that was, for the time being at least, his home. Didn't mean he had to like it; he just had to get used to it.

He was missing Quinn and Mercury - Quinn was easy to make fun of, watching the two of them squabble even moreso - and had yet to find anyone he wanted to spend more than a couple of minutes around. He was grumpy, horny, and more importantly, hungry. There'd been some sort of synthetic blood in the store, but it wasn't the same as feeling a fluttering pulse against his lips, wasn't the same as the smell of fear, the pathetic struggling of a human held tight in his arms. While he didn't need to hunt, or feed, nonetheless the urge was there.

Lighting a cigarette off the end of the last, he strode down the street, pausing at an intersection long enough to toss his cigarette butt into a drain. There was a park up ahead, maybe he'd find something to entertain him there.

[Dinah]

[immediately follows this thread]

Harry would never have expected a response like that from Murphy. He'd never seen her act... petty before. Almost like she was.... a jealous girlfriend?

He growled under his breath. Whatever might have been, nothing had happened between them. Maybe he was an idiot about women sometimes, but dammit, Murphy knew him well enough. Telling him to go 'screw the brains out' of an inebriated woman? Girlfriend or no, Harry wasn't one to take advantage. And that Dinah had been drinking at all was more showing that something had been worrying her, upsetting her.

It occurred to him that Murphy had been drinking as well, showing the same signs. Was her reaction due to that? A bit too harsh for what she'd wanted to say?

He stepped behind Dinah, and lay a soft hand on her shoulder. "Dinah, I'll drive your car back. Let me take you home. I know you don't want to be apart from Jake this long."

Needing some angelic assistance (Castiel)

Wanda had been attacked by an eagle. Sam was now a Great Dane that lived on his couch - he tried not to think of what he was going to have to explain to Dinah later. It was the first time since both brothers had been in the City and aware of each other that they were actually living together. They weren't even working together much, and Dean was torn when it came to that. He wanted to work with Sam, but he was beginning to wonder if working with the big freak was part of why Sam had gone completely dark side. Plus, here they didn't exactly have the same issues; Gabe wasn't even pushing them to play their roles. He couldn't decide what to think of this bassackwards place.

Sam had somehow gotten out, and seeing as he hadn't heard from Murphy or Jen recently, meaning a night or so, Dean thought he'd take a moment before heading out to find more werewhatevers. The freaking huge eagle was a new one, and the reports seemed to hint that instead of were-eagles, they should be dealing with werewolves, or one werewolf. At least he wasn't having those damn nightmares.

He took a deep breath, then sighed. "Cas. Castiel. I could use some answers. Cas?" He wasn't putting his heart into it, or he was slightly distracted. He was bent over looking into the fridge for something the big ass dog Sam hadn't tried scarfing down.

"Seriously? Salad?" He stood up slowly with a salad shake thing in one hand and a beer in the other. "He's such a girl."
