ANNOUNCEMENT: Our first official affiliate, the [info]triatha_ron Games, has just completed their inaugural Games!!



The [info]triatha_ron is a Ron-centric ficathon based in part on the model of [info]snarry_olympics.



The TriathaRon had Teams of Het, Gen and Slash writers pitted against each other for a friendly competition which has just finished their inaugural run!

INTRODUCING our first official affiliate, the [info]triatha_ron!!




ANNOUNCING the TRIATHA-RON!! The [info]triatha_ron is new Ron-centric ficathon based in part on the model of [info]snarry_olympics.



The TriathaRon is a Teams of Het, Gen and Slash writers will be pitted against each other in a friendly competition over one Ronald Billius Weasley. Because there can never be too much Ron love! Posting begins March 1, Ron's birthday!



Maintained by the most awesome [info]mad_maudlin, [info]marginaliana, and [info]tarie, this official affiliate of the Snarry Games has their FAQs here, and the Teams (so far) here. We wish them good luck in their inaugural run!

Friends of Snarry:

This month's just-released edition of the FICTION ALLEY podcast, SPELLCAST features an interview with yours truly. The editors contacted me after our recent *name change trauma*, wanting to discuss it in their newsletter. Go CHECK IT OUT!



Another podcast released today, SNAPECAST, also features an interview with me, but more importantly, is a SNARRY CENTRIC episode in honour of Valentine's Day. Three previous [info]snarry_games champions: [info]chaeche, [info]lampblack, and [info]pennswoods are part of the [info]snapecast Team. Go check out the *All Snarry* Episode!



Podcasting is quickly becoming the newspaper of the future. The New York Times has a podcast. Those of you who have never heard one, go give it a shot! You can either download the .mp3 and listen to it at your leisure on any mp3 player, on your desktop or on your iPod, or you can just listen to the feeds directly via a player such as iTunes, no download necessary!

It is a really neat way to connect with people in the fandom, you get to hear the voices of the folks on your flists, or favourite authors and fandom contributors.

Podcasting is also catching fire in the Audio Book arena, and you can go check out [info]hp_podslash for all your Harry Potter slash Audio needs!

    The [info]snarry100 drabble community is having a challenge this week inspired by our very own Art Games!

    Happy Thursday, everyone! We had a fantastic drabble week; there were some very interesting firsts memorialized in drabbles. Aren't new things fun? This week's challenge is inspired by the [info]snarry_olympics, which if you aren't watching for the gorgeous art, you should be!

    Challenge 24: Images

    There are some amazingly talented fanartists in fandom, and many of them create beautiful Snarry images for us to gaze at in awe. This week choose your favorite Snarry fanart and write a drabble to accompany it. Please include the link to the art you picked so that everyone can admire the beautiful pictures!

    Later today, I am going to be posting a poll on Fests/Comms/Mods. I really would like your opinions and recommendations. I want the Snarry Games to be the best that it can be.

    Watch for it.

    In the meantime, and little pimp for all of you Snarry Lovers/fans/writers who need some summer distraction:



    Snarry Summer Free For All!



    It's the dog days of summer and [info]pornicators is here to help you cool off in the blistering heat.

    What is your dirty Snarry fantasy? Or even your clean one? Has it been written before? Should it be written again and again? How do our boys make the Summer hotter than Hades?

    Make it silly, make it sweet, however you like your Snarry, just give us the ideas. Leave a comment here, with or WITHOUT your name, and we will list them next week for a Snarry Summer Free For All!

    Anyone who is a member of this comm can choose your fantasy to write or draw, after we gather up all the Snarry fantasies you can dish up!

    Rules:
    You must be 18 to join this comm, so logically...
    There can be no chan posted at this comm.
    The story size must be less than 2000 wds. We are talking fantasies here, folks, not plotty novels.

    And that's it!

    All YOU have to do is write your Severus Snape/Harry Potter fantasy down in the comments, anonymously or not, for the master list!
