Friends of Snarry:

Hi. My name is djin7, and I would like to say a few words to you all.

Before we announce the results of the 2007 Winter Snarry Games polls, I would like to take this time to thank some people who really made this year's Games a smashing success. We have had a pretty rough time of it these last few months, but rather than going over the bad, I wish to move forward and talk about all the good, and the community that we have, which is worth its weight in gold medals:


I would like to thank glockgal for donating our beautiful Snarry Games artwork for 2007. I would also like to thank pervart for our layout using the artwork and providing us with pimp banners, icons, and the personalisation of the medals, as well as her tireless work to edit all the banners and medals from last year to conform to our new name. It was because of them that we joined in the HP Quills For A Cause effort this year, and we are humbled by the gifts they bestow upon us. Much ♥LOVE♥ and kudos to them both!

I would also like to thank medawyn, alafairnadia and earthphoenix for their mod help this year, from helping organise the memories to coding interviews and entries, and helping with the Name Change Incident. Thank you all so much! We hope you stick around for the next games.

To meredyth_13, shadowpryde, and magic_helmet, who came through with some outstanding volunteer work at the end of the games that really saved our asses. ♥ Also, to the volunteers who helped to keep this ship afloat after it had been almost sunk during the Name Change Incident:

Thank you to oulangi, who helped me several times this year when I considered walking over a cliff with an anvil, or being a stupid Gryffindor. She was the yin to my yang, and helped to keep me calm and rational when the seas were roughest. Thank you! ♥

A very special thank you goes out to aliciamasters and reddwarfer, who both have alternatively supported me, stood up to me, listened to me, talked to me, carried my burdens and helped me in ways that cannot be properly expressed in words - I thank you both so much. You are the best of the best and whenever I feel like I need a true friend, you guys are there for me, taking time out of your busy lives to help me in my projects. For all the things you do, I wish I could give you your own medals. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Before I present the Medals for a job well done, I would like to take this opportunity to review the Contestants from this most excellent round of the 2007 Snarry Games. My favourite part of this whole process is reading these stories, and I would like for the Champions to know of the enjoyment they gift me with.

Today we again recognize the hard-won achievement and dedication of authors and their teams who strive for excellence in Snarry.

As always, it is the fans that are really the winners here. Our Champions all worked hard to entertain us, to allow us a glimpse into different worlds and characters that we hold near and dear. We thank them ALL for this gift they share.

However, in the competition we set out to do, the Judges (you, the readers) have voted to score these creative authors and their teams, both of which have alternatively stunned and excited us, allowing one to edge out the other for Gold by again, the smallest of margins. So without further ado:

There were many people involved in the making of this year's medals and banners.
