St. Margaret's: the OOC Community

Hi Everyone! The game is set to kick back in next week, but before it does, I wanted to post this.

Now that everyone's favorite Sloth Demon Davian has (finally) graduated and gotten his wings and horns back (Thanks Ms. Pearl!), I'm posting this as an appreciation post for the FOUR YEARS plus some that I played him in the game.

Seventy journal entries and a whopping 219 IC game entries - the most by any character in the history of the game by a long shot - I think he deserves his own ooc farewell post as the longest running student character in the game.

Everyone here has had at least one (but probably more) interactions with Davian and your character(s). Past or present. What's your favorite memory? Link me!

So yes. Things happened and it caused me to not have time until now to actually get to a few things that were supposed to happen. One of these things is the audition.

In the past I have asked for the people auditioning for the play to do something, but that leaves out so many people I've realized; therefore, today we will be doing something a little different.

I would like to see what all of the people not in the play can do in support of the person they want.

So the game will go like this. The people auditioning will need to put up their best picture/gif arguments for them being the best choice, and then others will be invited to respond to each of them with their own gif/pic that expresses their approval or disapproval of the person for the job.

Finally, Felicity will make a visit to the OOC community to give her own opinion of who should get the parts.

So, I fucked up the timeline a bit. Okay, so Barclay was supposed to wake up last week (here), but I only realized that just now. So, he did wake up in that thread, but let's pretend he just woke up, k?

Posting this today, lest I forget tomorrow amid all the weekend shenanigans. Tomorrow night is Rider's Lip Sync Battle in the Ladon common room!

Boy Wonder made sure to clear a good space for the “stage” area, and there should have been lots of room for spectators and performers alike to enjoy themselves. Sound system and speakers were all set up. He didn’t bother with food, but it is a Ladon party, so there was alcohol being passed around for anyone that wanted some. Rider convinced an underclassman to be in charge of everyone’s music (unless someone wants to volunteer a character to do so). There was a roster for everyone to sign up for what order they wanted to perform.

Rider went first. He came out on stage dressed in a recreation of this outfit, and he’d glamoured himself some glorious Shakira hair. He then proceeded to lip sync the hell out of Hips Don’t Lie by Shakira. (And yes, he lip synced both Shakira and Wyclef's parts.) There was much hip shaking, belly dancing, hair flipping, and flirting with the crowd.

All participants were given the following microphone before their performance! The winner of the battle gets to keep it as their prize.
