The Surgeon is sitting on the throne today, and at his feet, there are chairs and desk consoles with computer screens and writing tablets in front of them. Each of them are in a certain team color, with enough monitors and pads for every team member. The chairs look singularly uncomfortable.]

Hmmm... Lets see if performances are a little more... up to standard this time. I trust you will grasp the mechanics of the experiment quickly enough.

The project will start shortly, in the meantime, there is an exercise available to perform to demonstrate some cognitive function. Surprise me.

[I'm guessing that this "experiment" has at least two parts. One is a test of our problem-solving and deductive ability; the environment will provide us puzzles and clues to solve collectively, and obstacles to overcome by proxy.

The second part is to study our reactions when responsible for people we don't know and have no connection to in dangerous situations, and probably also the change in those reactions when it's revealed that the people we've been guiding are actually people we know: specifically, Orion (currently, I suspect "Komui" is Jim Kirk, and "Poison" is Carly. I'm not sure of my identification for "Amarylis", but it might be Chaz). This also serves to observe Orion in a memoryless, high-stress situation (a microcosm of the games?), and allow them to serve their penalty.]

	addendum [It's impossible to say at this point whether the people we've been guiding are actually Orion, mental copies imprinted on anthropomorphic forms, or something in between. 	Hypothesis: Those two are very likely in the middle of some sort of game, and someone or something just grabbed Poison. I think Komui is still okay, though? Also, some sort of conflict between some blanks (maybe the ones from Poison's memory?) is probably going to be a major factor later on. (But really, other than what's obvious, I have no idea.) Suiwo, the disciple of Hakuin, was a good teacher. During one summer seclusion period, a pupil came to him from a southern island of Japan.

Suiwo gave him the problem: "Hear the sound of one hand."

The pupil remained three years but could not pass this test. One night he came in tears to Suiwo. "I must return south in shame and embarrassment," he said, "for I cannot solve my problem."

"Wait one week more and meditate constantly," advised Suiwo. Still no enlightenment came to the pupil. "Try for another week," said Suiwo. The pupil obeyed, but in vain.

"Still another week." Yet this was of no avail. In despair the student begged to be released, but Suiwo requested another meditation of five days. They were without result. Then he said: "Meditate for three days longer, then if you fail to attain enlightenment, you had better kill yourself."

On the second day the pupil was enlightened.

I hope Orion is all right. I don't think we're done yet, but I think this is probably harder then they deserve. Then again, you allays make sure we get what we need and nothing else, don't you?

	Hypothesis: After hearing what others who have been here longer than me said. I agree that we might in some way be controlling Orion since they are missing and the diary was in yellow. It would be a good idea to take precautions before doing anything risky in the game, such as not letting the characters directly look through holes or touch objects. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Hypothesis: The "characters" are based on or are real Blanks from among us. If so then likely Orion based on the clues so far.
