TIME FOR THE BIIIIIIG ANNOUNCEMENT
opal11 and I decided that celebrating the Fifth Anniversary of 513 was a necessity.

So, we enlisted some help from brianslave68, qafmaniac, and pfodge and together we all came up with some fun ideas and they made some gorgeous graphics!

Whooo! I'm so excited now! This sounds... it just sounds... wow. That's all I've got. Wow. Maybe I'm flailing a bit too much right now, but please consider that this is the first chance I've had to participate in a fandom-wide thing. So I think I'm allowed to squee a little... or a lot.

Only one problem, though - I've watched 513 exactly once, and bawled like a baby. I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to do it again (even though Brian and Justin totally keep in touch).

Come with me. I'm by now a self-described expert at 513 survival - I was traumatized (rocking and crying like a baby) the first time I watched it (hastily and rather out of context I might add), then months later forced myself to watch again. And again. And while I still cry a little, it's not the same kind of crying at all, because now I know exactly what happens around those end-scenes and it's all beautiful.

Er - they "keep in touch"? Hee hee. OK. That's one way to put it. A whole great big lot of "touch" LOL! (Why *peeks* -- they're touching even as we speak!)

I can't even think of that final scene with Brian and Justin without getting teary - I'm pathetic, right?

As for them keeping in touch, maybe that was the wrong way to put it. It was just easier than saying, "They see each other all the time and stay in love and Justin visits Brian and Brian visits Justin and they never forget about each other and..." I could go on and on :)
