I almost can't believe it's here! The deadline for the Challenge in Two Parts is tonight at 10 PM Pacific (California, US) time!
There is a thirty minute grace period.
Please comment here if you have any questions, if you sent a fic and I haven't acknowledged receiving it, or if you had signed up but won't be able to submit a fic. If you think you'll have a last minute submission, that would be helpful too -- please email me letting me know, and please also tell me what banner you're writing for. DO NOT COMMENT HERE if you are including a banner number in your information.

I have already received 25 fics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm beyond excited and can't wait to see what else comes in. The artists and writers in this fandom are wonderful, and enthusiasm for this challenge, and the respect the authors have shown for the intentions of the artists, has been incredible.
I'm sure it will take me a long time to post these fics tonight, so unless you're outside the US or a serious night owl, I'd assume you're going to see them Saturday morning rather than tonight. They will be posted anonymously for five days, after which time all the artists and authors will be revealed. Artists and authors are asked not to cross-post, claim, or respond to comments on their submissions until the reveal.

| Reminder: A Challenge in Two Parts |

The artists of our fandom have gifted us with 24 incredible graphics designed to serve as the inspiration for fiction written for the "Challenge in Two Parts." Those stories will be due on May 16 -- I will post the exact instructions for submitting them a little closer to the date.
This is just a general reminder that the due date is three weeks from tomorrow. :)

All submissions must be beta'd; if you don't have a beta, there is a list of volunteers here.

Wow, that was harder than I thought it would be! But they're all posted, all 23 24 amazing graphics from the incredible artists in this fandom. I'm completely overwhelmed. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Everyone, please leave the artists your love, and feel free to guess who made what. Authors, you can indicate you're going to write for a fic if you wish to tell the artist, but there is no official sign up for an image; please write for as many as you wish, to change your mind at any time about which one you're writing for, or to add an additional one. There is going to be a special prize announced shortly for authors who write for more than one image.
Fics will be due May 16 -- sign-ups are technically over, but as long as you let me know to expect your fic, I'll take submissions right up until the due date. Full details, rules, and sign-ups here.
Five days after the fics are posted, artists and authors will be revealed. Please, artists, I know it's a long time, but don't identify yourself as the artist, crosspost it, or respond to comments on the graphic until the reveal in May.
