A Challenge in Two Parts -- Down to the wire!
One week from today -- Friday, May 16, at 10 PM Pacific Time (California, USA) -- is the final due date for fiction submissions to the "Challenge in Two Parts."

Because it will take me quite a while to post these, I will accept submissions up to half an hour past the deadline, but no more -- at 10:30 PM Pacific Time, anything I get will not be posted in the challenge.

Please comment to me here when you email your story, so I know it's on its way.

If you signed up but are not going to be submitting anything, please let me know that as well.

This is a very complicated challenge to post, so I'd like to be as prepared as possible for how many stories will be coming in. I appreciate your help with that. :)

For that same reason, any early submissions will also be very welcome!

To submit your stories, please format them as indicated below and email them as an attached .txt or .doc file to xie.kay@gmail.com. DO NOT paste them into the email. I need attachments!

Remember to review the rules here before submitting.

Format:

Use the header given below.

If your fic needs to be split into two posts, or is a multi-chapter story, please send them to me as separate documents with all the header information on both/each.

Do your own HTML for the bolding in the header and any italics in your story. If you don't use HTML to show me your italics etc, it won't be there, as there's no way I could read through each story and find an italicized word, etc.

If you want the artwork that inspired the story to appear in the body of the story instead of at the top, tell me that in the email and use HTML to show me where you want it. You can hotlink to the images as I posted them here.

Please post your story into your own journal before submitting it, and make sure it looks how you want it to. Then go to the HTML window, copy that text, put it into a .txt (Notepad, etc) or .doc (Word) file, save it, and send me the file. Easy. :)

<b>Timeline:</b> Season, AU/AR, post-series, etc.
<b>Rating: </b>G, NC-17, etc.
<b>Warnings, if any: </b>Remember, you must warn for major character death, Brian/other, Justin/other, violence, etc.
<b>Author's notes: </b>Optional; you may thank your beta here.
<b>Graphic:</b> Indicate by number only.

Remember, all submissions must be beta'd; if you don't have a beta, there is a list of volunteers here.
