Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Round Thirteen open!

Porn Battle Promps is now closed! No more prompts will be accepted!

Today is October 1st which means - Porn Battle is now open! Rather fitting that Round Thirteen happen in october. You have until October 7th at midnight EST to get your prompts in. Unlike the brief experiment in July, we are not limiting your prompt number. *shrugs* We'll occasionally try something here to keep things nice and fresh for you and if it works out (such as the three weeks of writing instead of one week) we'll keep it. If it's deemed a flop in our agreement, we'll ditch it. Your hosts this time are [info]ladynero collecting the prompts and [info]aikonamika collecting the drabbles.

Just a recap of the rules including the new ones:

For the sake of administrative ease, prompts follow a certain template:

fandom/fandoms (spell out the name of your fandom/s and if it's a crossover please start with that word), person/pairing/moresome, prompt word(s), prompt lyric/quote (optional)

For RPF, please don't give us specific RPF fandoms, but please do tell us if it's based on actors, music, sports, or other. (If you don't give us a category, we'll assume it's "other". We're only human -- we don't know who every celebrity is.) Honestly, if someone is going to write a RPF, then they probably already know the career of the people involved, but we need the specification to put them in the right order for easier searching.

Some examples:

RPF (actor), Viggo Mortensen/Dominic Monaghan, fatigue
RPF (sports), Reggie Miller/Mark Jackson, brotherhood
Stargate: Atlantis, John/Rodney/Ronon/Teyla, outsider, I am just a poor boy/though my story's seldom told
Stargate: Atlantis, Teyla/Keller, readiness
Crossover: Stargate: Atlantis/Stargate: SG-1, Elizabeth/Sam, fruity umbrella drinks
Crossover: Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Supernatural, Buffy/Sam/Dean, competition, Anything you can do/I can do better/I can do anything/better than you

Dissidia Final Fantasy. As this is a Final Fantasy with characters therein, I would seriously prefer if prompts for it were posted as Final Fantasy Dissidia, thus allowing it to take its place in the Final Fantasy line up.

EDIT: If the fandom has "The" in the title, like "The Last Airbender", then please post the fandom as "Last Airbender The". That way it goes in the right spot instead of everything being thrown under "T" for "The". Same with "A" like "A Life to Live". Post it like "Life to Live A". Thanks.

PS. The Master List for the last round is being hunted down for posting. If nothing else, it will be recreated which might take a bit. Our apologies for this.

Round Ten Prompts Collection!

Prompting is over! I'll have your prompts off for posting as soon as possible. Let's see about trying to set a record!

It has begun! Please list your prompts here. You will have until the morning of January 4th to get them in, and then they will be collected and posted for your porning enjoyment.

And now, a few reminders:

NO ABBREVIATIONS There's a very good chance we don't know the fandom, so putting down FF7 instead of Final Fantasy 7 will get a finger shaken at you.

If the title has the word "The" in the begining, such as The Dresden Files, put it at the end of the name - Dresden Files, the - or just leave it off entirely.

All prompts need to be in the following format including punctuation: fandom, character/character, prompt. This is to keep everything in nice neat order since Excel spreadsheets (where we organize thses things) does differentiate between commas and colons. If a colon is part of the fandom name, that's fine. If you're using one to separate the three parts of the prompts, please don't.

Numbers in the fandom name: Especially for the Final Fantasies - use the Roman numerals, so Final Fantasy 7 would be Final Fantasy VII. Again, this is to keep everything organized and straight.

Once more, all prompts need to be in the "upper" comment posting. If you think of some other prompts you want to toss out there, then post again. There's nothing that says you only have to post once.

Crossovers and Real people fic are the following formats:
Crossover, fandom/fandom, character/character, prompt
RPF (profession), person/person, prompt

Thank you for your patience!
