That title makes me feel like this is Mrs. Frisby and The Rats of NIMH and I'm Mrs. F. But it was moving day just two days ago. My building was full on condemned for no other reason than... It was about to collapse! Yeah, 'cause that's totally a minor thing. So now that I've gotten my computer set up - as I have no lappy and no cell phone (WOE!) - I can do... things now! So glad my boss gave me time off work even if that means less money.

List of things to do:
1. Sort out wardrobe - Weekend task?
2. Call repair shop - will I have enough for groceries and for a new key/lock combo for the Gremlin?
3. Start a savings jar for a new car - why am I driving a GREMLIN?
4. Practice for work!

Also also: Never move boxes in heels. I swear to god, my feet are bruised or something from it. Worst idea EVER. I just like feeling tall...er and having the knowledge that if some horrible person comes chasing me down the street and... I get pinned or something, I have a weapon! Although god forbid I have to run in heels. Can you imagine? Speaking of shoes, anyone know any good shoe websites? I need something in green. If I can afford it after I fix Grem-Grems.

Hello, my name is Ren and I live in room 404. I just moved in a few days ago and I have just started unpacking most of my stuff so I haven't been very social or gotten a chance to use this thing yet. Yet I have already unpacked my games and have played six hours straight on Halo, BUT that is my excuse and I'm sticking with it.

For someone who grew up with electronics, you would think something like this would come second nature, but it just feels a little awkward introducing myself to "the neighborhood" via this thing. It probably would have been a lot stranger to go door to door introducing myself. Yeah, like I would have done that, hahah. Not a girl scout, not selling cookies.

Though I do know a couple of people here from before I officially moved in and here is a special message for one of them: Chris, dude, call me already before I have to stake out your apartment.

I have come to the conclusion that I hate unpacking and I have nothing to eat right now except ramen noodles. It might be a few days before I am able to find my way back out of my apartment long enough to go stock up on things like...food. So does anyone here know of a few good places that deliver and are on the relatively cheap side? Cause man can not live by ramen noodles alone.

Is this working?   Kinda surprised when I heard there was like, an online group for the building, but I totally thought it'd be on Facebook.  I have no idea how this kind of thing works, actually not on my computer much (totally more into my iPhone, gotta figure out how to access this place from there.)  Friend me on Facebook if you got one!  Amrit Nikesh, the first one in the search, the profile pic is of me looking good, making an invisible pass.  Location still says SF but I've been down in this area for like a few months now.  Needed to get the job before I could start really swaggering around (but goddamn did I get one!  Already seen some of the other D-land peeps around here.)

Oh yeah, hey to everyone else!  I only ran into a few people on the elevators while getting my stuff in, but I already got the feeling everyone here is chill. And so I'll say this straight cause I play like that, but tell me guys, who's got the good parties here?  Like, I heard the apartments at the top are total swank but got no clue if the people up there are down for a good time or what....Private message me if you got to.  You can do that on this forum thing, right?

Dude okay, I got to finish up painting my kitchen.  I just got this chili red paint that would knock you on your ass.  Keeping my windows and doors open (you can come in through the door, you know, if you want to look at everything.  Though if you want to come in through the window that'd be awesome too, haha I got rock-climbing rope).
