"Hello and welcome to the News At 11. Top story tonight, bank robbery and murder. Several men robbed the bank on 54th and 8th tonight. Spider-Man arrived on the scene to stop them and a car chase ensued. When police got there however, they found each of the bank robbers tied to a wall with Spider-Man's webbing. Each of them were identically covered in webbing including their faces. They all suffocated.
"Spider-Man was spotted several blocks away from the last robber next to a car that had been flipped over. He was chased through the air by a police chopper which crashed when Spider-Man threw a stone gargoyle at it. The pilots ejected and landed safely. Spider-Man could not be located after this.
"Police have asked that if anyone has any information pertaining to the whereabouts or identity of Spider-Man to please call this network or the police station."
The reporter touches his ear.
"This just in: the network has received a call from an anonymous informant who would only give the initials E.B. More when we come back from commercials."
