I never realized how much my mom spent on my new school supplies every year until I had to go buy them myself with the money I made at the Cupcake Shop. At least I didn't have to buy new school clothes thanks to mom's clothing closet showing up at the apartment. And thanks to my twin - I didn't have to get a new haircut either.

So, ah hi? Hi. I'm Presto, newly arrived in the last day or so, and completely confused. That tablet greeting doesn't really seem to give much information. But, ah, wandering around is making my head hurt. Is it really 2017? For real? I was in 1983 the last time I was on Earth.

I feel like I somehow fell through a portal into a fantasy, and that's coming from someone who did that already once. Computers are so much more advanced, and there's the internet. And phones, and televisions and... only thing missing is flying cars.

Has anyone else woken up here like this, from another world or time?
