Silver Water Gel

Okay, so I don't usually recommend products. But I have personally been through two bottles of this stuff, the third is being shipped to me this week. It works for just about everything. From my experience(YMMV) it works on sunburn, windburn, razor burn, beard burn(LOL), rug burn, chapped skin, diaper rash, regular burns, rashes of all kinds, cuts, blisters, chicken pox itchy, pimples, sore cuticles, ingrown toe nails, blisters... Just about any kind of irritation or inflammation. It takes the soreness out of the cuts I get from kitchen knives. That enough? Heh.

You know how kids are. My grand daughter got bit by some bug or other, I'm not sure what jind because I didn't see it and she couldn't describe it very well. I slathered some of this on and it took the sting and itch right away. The screaming and scratching stopped. LOL. I get burns all the time on the stove, and coffee pot. I'm clumsy. I slather a bit of this gel on, with a tad of pure aloe vera, and no problem, pain and swelling is gone. It doesn't do much for sore joints, I use emu oil for that, or DMSO, but for everything else, well except callouses, LOL. It works fantastically well. No redness, swelling or infection.

I don't get any money from anyone. I don't know anyone in the company. I get no reimbursement of any kind, no free product or money. And I don't sell it.

Just passing the word on a great product, AND it's the most reasonably priced I could find anywhere.

I thought maybe I had mentioned it before, but someone reminded me that it was emu oil I was rhapsodizing about.

I've never used this on a deep puncture wound, and I wouldn't advise ignoring medical care and using just this stuff. Deep puncture wounds are something a little more serious than surface injuries.

After a week and a half of pulling our hair out and shaking angry fists towards Luxembourg, we finally got back to what we should've been doing all along -- promoting this bloody Show! Yes, free publicity, RTL, why do you make this so hard?

The situation's not ideal by any means. Instead of capturing clips directly from the video stream like we used to, now we're stuck spending literally hours on screencaptures. It's totally draining -- the RTL player is, quite frankly, crap. Everytime it stalls, I have to rebuffer and restart the recording. On about a third of the files the soundtrack comes out wonky. And even at its best, the quality is jerky because it is, after all, a string of screencaps. THANK GOD THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN BEFORE REUNION!

Still! We posted episode* and we're getting comments again (they are like a drug, I tell you!) and I'm going to sit here and drink wine and spam like whoa. And if I have enough wine, I just might make a defiant "you can't take the Show sky from me" vid.

Joss Whedon's latest project just hit Hulu

And it's kick ass!

Once, just once, I would like for news of a shows cancellation to not be met with internet petitions and letter writing campaigns.

I know, I know, I've participated in them as well but the fact that every time a show is cancelled, no matter how long the run, or how ready it is to go, that people get all up in arms and try and stop it, well, it gets a little tiring.

Numb3rs has had 6 seasons. That a lot. The only show that I've watched that has had more was SG-1 and I watched the whole thing within a year and wasn't fannish about it, so I tend not to count it.

It's just, you'd think that the more campaigns of this kind that go on, the less weight they carry with them each time they happen. Can we not save our efforts for the great shows that are killed before their time and actually have a chance of succeeding (I loved SGA and Terminator to pieces but while I may have raged against their untimely cancellation, I never participated in the campaigns to keep them, since I knew TPTB were not going to listen no matter what).

My brother is stationed at Fort Hood, he was working there today. He is fine, but things are all crazy down there. Those guys have been through shit with all these multiple deployments and now this. I have no idea what the government is thinking, but this was the inevitable result. If they keep it up, there will no doubt be more. Our service personnel deserve better treatment and they are not getting it.

This is a disgrace on them and that poor soul who did this. My heart is with the families of all the victims.
