... from The Vampire Diaries. I know/briefly met a few of you already, but this is my first time actually playing here so if I do it wrong just smack me upside the head until I get with the program.

Ric will be coming in after episode 3.10, "The New Deal," so his ring's battery is running low on juice and he doesn't know why. That is, if he still has it on him. I'll have to be sure and poke one of the mods about this because there wasn't anything about it in their reply to my app (I'd assume it would be considered part of his apparel, but if it's taken as part of his belongings I'm totally fine with that too).

You can usually catch me on AIM (Lnitiative), or on plurk (seriousbusiness). Poke me if you want to talk plots or random whatever. I love it all. I've heard a lot of good things about this place and I'm really looking forward to jumping in and getting to know everyone.

By the name of Sollux Captor. His mood swings  come and go pretty fast. If he's swearing at you and just talking smack one moment, the next second he can be apologizing and telling you that he's better off dead. Seriously. The guy is a little obsessed over the fact that he is going to die twice and go blind before finally dying. It is a thing. Just like his lisping is also a thing. Better come prepared with an umbrella if you want to talk to him in person because with those derp fangs of his? It's just asking for it. He's also an extremely talented hacker - of which I should probably do a permissions thingie soonish, but it is Superbowl night and I am lazy enough to not want to do it at the moment.

My name is Sire, by the by. I was here a long time ago and am hoping to forget that all because ew. Embarrassing stuff in the early days of RPing that just makes me want to throw my head upon the desk several times. Which makes this really more awkward, actually. Hello everyone! My name is Sam and I am a new player here at Marina! This is my first InsaneJounral experience, but I've heard good things about Marina and I am just so excited to be in the game!

I will be bringing in Princess Koriand'r aka Starfire from DCnU, more specifically from Red Hood and the Outlaws. She is a pretty amazing character. She's had a real hard life up till now and despite being one of the strongest people on Earth she actually tries to hide from humans and other people. Also, as an alien she sees the world differently and takes in most things by senses, sights and smells. Lobdell likened it to how a cat might view the world.

I really can't wait to play her! She's got some major problems with losing her freedom so~

Hi everyone~! I'm a newcomer named Rein and I'll be bringing this tsun face into Marina. His name is Gareki and he comes from the manga series, Karneval.

Hey gang. My name is Lauren, and you may remember me as that one flake who used to play Cielo from DDS. Well, I'm back again, but this time with a different character.

This is Gamzee Makara from Homestuck, a clown of a troll in the most literal sense and something of a creeper at his current canon point. Thankfully he's been mostly tamed for the moment, but it doesn't make him much less creeptastic.

He has some dream-influencing abilities that I'll get a permissions post up for at some point here, but I'll probably contact players in question if they ever come up anyway. Also like other trolls, he types in colorful courier text. Thankfully he's gone from typing in tHiS FaShIoN, to simply ALTERNATING HIS MOTHERFUCKIN' CAPITALIZATION. Though while it makes things easier to read, his speech patterns are still a little weird sometimes. Which completely isn't even relevant here.
