Carnaval de la Lumière

Hiii everyone! Tayber here, bringing in my third!

This is Hermes, one of the Greek Gods the carnaval has been entertaining the past few weeks. He's a trickster god, the messenger/emissary of the Olympians, and guides the souls of the dead to the underworld. He's the god of roads, travel, hospitality, animal husbandry, trade, thievery, communication, persuasion, cleverness, & athletics.

He's one of the most easy-going of the Olympians, cheerful and friendly and commonly shown in myths helping out heroes. He's not so easily offended as some of the other gods, and is generally more forgiving as well, though he still might turn you into a rock or a bird if you piss him off bad enough.

Being the patron god of travelers and trade and people who live by their wits, he's of course taken an interest in the Carnaval and it's inhabitants. If anyone would like to discuss prior encounters with Hermes and their characters during the Carnaval's stay at Olympus, or brainstorm for future plots, I'm all ears!

Hi guys, Tayber here. I wanted to apologize for being so scarce lately. I got sort of overloaded with things both RPwise and at home and kinda crashed for a bit there. I'm trying to get caught up again; I hope you'll forgive me for some probably seriously backdated replies here and there. If I've missed something involving my boys, or if you wanted to plot anything in particular, please just give me a shout here. And to newer members I might have missed greeting, Hello! Hello everyone! Tayber here with my second character! This is Harry Lockhart, from the neo-noir film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, he'll be coming from after the end of the movie. He's a thief-turned-private detective's assistant, working for his BFF in L.A. He's gullible and a bit slow, never shuts up, and fancies himself a defender of the innocent. Time travel and supernatural happenings are a bit outside his comfort zone, but he's good at rolling with the punches so he should adapt to his new home fairly well. He's going to be a rousty, so he'll be all over the carnaval talking to anyone and everyone and likely annoying people with his constant babbling.

Guuuuys now that IJ has been brought back to life, I am really raring to go for this House of Mirrors plot! Lets plan things! Other people with mirrored!pups, where you at? I was hoping to toss around ideas for how this gets discovered, but also, what will be going on before then.

So, for everyone's reference! Where normal Peter is fiery and passionate, crude and blunt and yet cares deeply about people, his mirrored self is icy cold. Outwardly, he's very polite and proper and gracious, he won't be swearing or drinking or hitting on people like normal. He is just the perfect gentleman. But his frosty, well-mannered facade covers up a malicious, cruel personality. There is no kindness to him, no caring, just a smiling, eerily calm, sadistic, sociopathic shell of the man he should be. So, if you'd like an encounter with him of some sort, or have other ideas, throw them at me here!

FOUR DAYS AND A WAKE UP. SO PUMPED.

Hello my lovelies! I'm Tayber, and I am so excited about this game, you have no idea. I know at leeeast a few of you already, and to those of you I don't know, hello! I look forward to meeting you all!

I'll being playing Peter Vincent from the vampire horror/comedy Fright Night (the 2011 edition, since there's now three different versions). Peter looks like a badass, walks like a badass, and talks like a badass. He is NOT a badass. He's a moody, melodramatic Las Vegas illusionist who is constantly cussing, drinking, and flirting with everyone he meets. He can come across crude and abrasive, but he also tends to be friendly and fairly easy to please - he's more than satisfied with some good booze and some company to share it with.

He is trying to make himself into a better man, but he's got several skeletons in his closet that he doesn't deal with well. On that note... vampire pups, he will be extremely leery and distrustful of you and will try to stay far far far away from you, even if you are a nice vampire.

I'm always up for throwing ideas around, and I'm online off and on pretty much daily between noon and 4am-ish, PST. I look forward to playing with you guys! :D
