Housecleaning time

[info]carnaval_mod
[info]carnaval_ooc
Carnaval de la Lumière is cleaning house!

we are thankful for all the replies we got about how to work on things within the group and once Min gets back from her holi, we are going to sit down and try to merge everyone ideas together.

While we sort out the details, I've decided to an actually activity check from now to May 16th, midnight EST.

Please fill out the form below and comment below with it.

If the form is not filled out by the date and time, the next morning, you will be removed from the game. No ifs or butts about it, especially if you haven't been to a mod to say why you haven't been around.

Activity Check (December)

[info]carnaval_mod
[info]carnaval_ooc
Happy New Year!

It’s activity check time. If you’re wondering what the heck this is all about, check the FAQ. To summarise, though, we use a points based system to keep abreast of player and character activity. Players can then use their character’s points to purchase things for them. These points will be available once checks are over (you can check your character’s current tally here). Checks last for one week.

Let’s get down to business though. There are a couple of forms below. The first, thankfully, is the one to copy and paste first - it includes a few questions for you as a player before getting into the points tallying. The second is only relevant to those of you with more than one character - it’s a blank character tally form to paste below the first.

Hopefully things are clear enough in the forms themselves. But as a general rule, if there are words in CAPS they should be read, deleted and their instructions followed. If there are words in [square brackets] they should be replaced with what they say/the result of a calculation.

All players are expected to check in and tally their own points (this is where tags come in handy). The activity requirement is a total of 35 points and at least one thread/log per month. You don’t have to meet these requirements on characters that have been introduced in the past fortnight though. Exceptions may also be made for the characters of players who have been on hiatus throughout the month. Since so many folk have been on hiatus throughout December and it's 'that time of year' players aren't expected to meet the requirements this check (though virtual cookies for you if you did :). I will be tallying points in a more timely fashion this check too. Apologies for last month. OH! And if you didn't manage to check in last month, please add those points to this check as well and make a note of it. Thanks!

Exceptions may also be made for the characters of players who have been on hiatus throughout the month. Though given that this has been the first month and a number of people have had to take time away from the game for various reasons, we're not going to worry too much about every character meeting this. But in future we will contact people if their characters don't meet the requirements and should have. Anyway, onto the forms -
