Summary: Morag storms over to Percy's to demand to know what they were going to do about the recent infestion of toad.
Morag had had to go to Escapism for Tibby's wake. She owed it to Tiberius, she felt, and she owed it to Cormac to be there. But it was the last thing she wanted to do. After the announcement by Dolores Umbridge at the service, Morag would much have preferred a quick visit to her sword and knives, something Percy had insisted she not wear to the funeral, and then another quick visit to Umbridge. Instead, she spent several hours fulfilling her social obligations as a friend of Tiberius.
Not that she didn't want to honour his memory. She did. And it helped to talk about Tiberius with others. She'd not forgotten her goal to make sure he was remembered with respect for his sacrifices and work.
But finally, the guests had departed and she'd felt she could leave. Telling Antonin she intended to check on Percy because he hadn't shown up at the wake, she turned in the opposite direction as her husband and headed to the other side of the village.
Of course, her mind went back over the events of the evening, she felt Tibby's loss deeply as she realized she could no longer report to him nor tell him her thoughts on what had happened.
By the time she reached Percy's she was upset and angry and sad, and she should probably have gone home instead but she wasn't going to leave Percy to grieve alone. Not even if he wanted it that way.
She did, at least, have the courtesy to knock. In the mood she was in, she might have easily kicked in the door, but Percy wouldn't like that.
