Morag looked at him a moment and snorted. Figured that he would have opportunity, given his reputation. At least he hadn't acted on it.
'He'll keep saying it,' she predicted. 'It makes him feel better, I think,' she decided. 'Like he's at least tried,' she smirked.
Morag sighed. 'Yes, they have a little. But not hugely. And Percy has a much firmer sense of right and wrong these days. That doesn't really matter to Umbridge. What she cares about is power. If Percy doesn't stand in her way, he'll be fine. But if he balks at the Aurors being used to enforce her stupid little decrees that are designed to show she has control and no one else does, if he protests her ignoring everything other than her own grab for power, he's going to need protecting.'
She looked at him with pursed lips. 'Percy may not be the reason you leave,' she said softly. 'But if you do leave the Aurors, come see me. I could use a person with your skills,' she offered.
