Morag raised a brow at Vaisey's response. She'd made it quite clear that that was what she was doing. Percy was a bloody stubborn git, but he was her bloody stubborn git of a friend, and she wouldn't stand by and let someone play with his feelings.
'Percy doesn't believe in just sex,' she admitted. She'd offered that herself, and he'd been appalled. That he'd made such demands didn't surprise her in the least. What surprised her was that Vaisey had agreed. 'You have a reputation, Mr. Vaisey, and while I normally wouldn't care who or how many people you slept with, I won't stand by and see Percy hurt.'
'He won't do that, Mr. Vaisey. Percy doesn't care about excitement or how entertaining or interesting you are. He cares about sharing a life, about sharing the everyday things like cooking and talking and playing with the dog. That doesn't seem to describe the Cass Vaisey I've heard about around town....' she told him frankly.
She gave the Auror a very direct look. 'Love or not, if you play him false, he will leave you. And that is nothing compared to what I will do to you....'
