Morag sighed, wondering if Vaisey had ever even met Umbridge. 'I know he's got at sucking up and knowing when to look like he's agreeing when he plans to do it his own way....I did work with him for several years. But that woman is going to push too far, and eventually, he's going to balk. He'll pretend on the stupid stuff, but sooner or later, she's going to push for something he cannot in good conscience agree to. And she only tolerates those who play up to her.' She shook her head. He'd find out. It would be the hard way, but he'd find out.
She looked towards the living room for a moment. 'No,' she said finally, 'I think I'll try again when we begin to see the agenda Umbridge plans to set. Just tell him when he's sober that I came by. And when he gripes, tell him I said it was because I care and he can just put a sock in it because I'm going to care whether he likes it or not!'
