Who: Adrian and Jill
What: meeting up
When: tonight
Where: outside the prison, probably toward in the wilderness
Warnings: Adrian is in a human body and Jill is in a vampire's. So yeah, probably.
There were worst things that could happen than being stuck in Eric's body. At least she was maintaining some semblance of control it. If by control you counted the bumping into the ceiling and the fangs popping out when she got excited. Spencer was right there, keeping track, and really she probably had no idea how much Jill appreciated that. Having someone keep her in check with her impulses was exactly what she needed. Because she knew that Eric was making sure nothing happened to her body.
He was fascinating that way. Jill was always drawn to the older vampires and immortals she met in Everett, but Eric was by far her favorite to talk to. Mostly because he had lived so long he has not surprised by anything. He didn't talk down to her like she was an idiot because she was young and/or different. So, she wanted to be careful. The girls in the house made it hard. They liked to touch him when she fed. Sometimes those hands made for reactions she couldn't control. Boy hormones were hard, even when you are an especially ancient vampire apparently.
She missed Adrian, and it didn't matter if he was in someone's elses body too. She missed him, and she wanted to see with her own eyes, or Eric's own eyes, that he was really okay. Though not being tied to the spirit and knowing Jill couldn't get in his head was probably a relief. She suspected he might be indulging in some of his old past times now that he didn't have to worry about Jill waking up with a hangover. Still, she needed to see, and since she couldn't just dart into his head, meeting him outside the prison was the best bet. She could keep the human body safe. Eric's body was super strong and fast.
As soon as the sun was completely down, she left the house. There was nothing there that was going to hold her interest over seeing her bondmate. Even if technically he wasn't her bondmate now. It wasn't like she could hid when she was a tall viking vampire, but she shoved her hands in the pockets of the jeans she had on. There was a soft blue sweater on that Eric hadn't owned before. He had a lot of black in his closet, and she thought that was a shame. He needed to accentuate his pretty blue eyes a bit.
When Adrian emerged and began walking away from the prison, Jill smirked and took a step deeper into the woods. Silently she waited while Adrian got closer, his human eyes not as keen to see what was around him. Just as he passed where she was, she suddenly grabbed hold of his arm and pulled him into the dark, using the free hand to cover his mouth before whispering in his ear playfully. "Don't scream."
Okay, there was definitely worse bodies to be in. This was kind of fun.
