Who: Alcide and Sookie
What: To say that he's worried is an understatement.
When: After her conversation with Eric
Where: The prison's yard
Warnings: Probably angst and language, but will update if necessary.
Ever since Alcide had arrived at the prison, he had been doing his best to hide his concern about Sookie as best as he could even if that was most of what he focused on. Sure, he did his shifts as a raider without fail, and he even volunteered to help out when he didn't have to, but his primary concern was Sookie. They were living in a prison full of people, and while he couldn't even imagine having to deal with everyone's thoughts at the same time, he knew that she wasn't adjusting too well to it. It was why he did his best to distract her by going out for walks away from everyone, or just showing up randomly in the kitchen to talk, or even just sitting with her in her cell when she was alone in wolf form so that she wouldn't have to deal with even his thoughts. If there was anything he could do, he tried to do it.
When he found out that she was going to talk with Eric, Alcide did his best to not hover or even stalk Sookie, but that didn't mean that he didn't stick around somewhat close by. Not close enough to listen to their conversation, or even close to be seen, but enough to see Sookie walking through the yard to go back inside.
He didn't bother trying to look 'natural' as he walked over to her; he had a feeling she would know that he was worried about her and wanted to check on her.
"Hey," he greeted as he fell into step with her. "How'd it go?"
