Who: Rose and Dimitri
What: Rose and Dimitri go out looking for Shannon
When: Sunday after the network goes down
Where: the woods
Warnings: Will update as necessary
It didn't take a genius to figure out where her boyfriend was after Shannon's distress call went out. She found him in his room getting all bundled up like a good Russian to go to her rescue. Rose had already bundled up. Her long hair was tucked in a messy bun underneath her hat and she had a big fluffy coat on. Her yoga pants would hopefully keep her warm enough and she had on a pair of boots that went almost up to her knees. Everett wasn't that much different than the weather had been at St. Vladimir's.
"You're going out to find Shannon? I'm coming with you," she said. "Buddy system." She winked at him. It was the prison's rule to enforce the buddy system. Rose didn't object to it at all but if Dimitri ever did she was happy to remind him that it was his rule. Whether or not he wanted her to follow him out into the storm was just too bad. She was going. Besides, if Shannon were seriously injured she would need both of them to get her back into the prison at the rate it was snowing outside.
She followed Dimitri out into the blinding wind and snow as the two of them tried to track Shannon's position from where she had radioed for help. It was impossible and the weather was finally starting to get to Rose. It had been almost forty five minutes of searching and she Dimitri were both soaked all the way through to the bone. They were going to need to find shelter Rose decided eventually and she wasn't even sure if they could make it back to the prison, they were so deep in the woods.
She tugged Dimitri's coat and pointed to a nearby cabin. Without waiting for him to respond, she started off in that direction. It was too windy and snowy to really say anything anyway. The two of them rushed into the cabin, Rose was glad to find that it was unlocked but she knew that could also mean bad news. They would have to do a full zombie sweep before getting comfortable.
"We're never gonna find her in this storm," Rose said.
