Okay...
Recently we've lost a few members via busy schedules and personal business. Dan can now be counted among those individuals. While this isn't crippling to the game (as he only plays one or two active characters), it pisses me off. So... any helpful suggestions to get some new life would be savvy. After all is said and done, (almost) everyone that opposed a restart is gone. I just feel like no one wants to join in something that's so convoluted. Hellz. Sorry to be kind of a downer. I just want to see some activity and have a plot that produces cooperation and muses and plot bunnies and all that other fun crap. Thoughts?

FYI - I'm really depressed, so non-perky constructive criticism should be left out. >_< Just sayin'.

Otherwise, I'm open to suggestions.

P.S. After talking with Leigh, a restart seems a little more possible. Maybe right after X3. Jean crawls out of the coffin. Scott pops back into existence and wanders. Logan comes back/remains to deal with the Jean revival. Storm/Kurt have Harmon, as Kurt hasn't left as is "canon" post-X2. Rogue didn't take the Cure. Iceman and Kitty are flirty, but mutant rights and issues are in a worse upheaval now than before and Kitty is concerned. Beast and Magneto are alive and well. Eh?

	I think a restart would be the best option as we've lost so many characters as of late. It would also make it easier on potential new players to have a less complex plot. It can always grow more complex later, eh? I'm up for whatever. (Reply to this) (Thread)

I was opposed to a restart initially, but I've changed my mind. There's a lot of different paths our characters could take and we might be able to do a lot of interesting, close-to-canon storylines. The Brotherhood would be around (yay!), the HFC can be up to no good, and society would be back to normal. Plus, those of us who have characters that have been hard to place, will probably have more a chance to fit them into the scheme of things.

I do realize a restart can seem daunting, but I think this might help pick up the pace around here. :)

	Restarting, I think, would be the best option. LOLscottandjeanwereinthewhitehotroom would work, they pop back into existence, while Scott wanders around. There is a lot of interesting stuff we can do. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	I'm glad you're on board, sugar. ^_^ Hopefully we can gather more Guthries for Jay and Sam to play with, and Alex can have the experience of getting his brother back from the grave. Bwahaha. 	I'm good with trying anything you'd like to do, honestly. If little plots and things aren't working, then something radical seems to be the next option to try. And it seems like if we're struggling for ideas, bringing it back to a stronger canon and having more concrete things to work with would be in our favor (even if ultimately we have less freedom). 	Yeah, plot ideas aren't short, but I don't think everyone is completely happy with where things are going and I'm feeling really stressed out. So, I'm glad you're okay with this. There are loads of options for Kitty and Gert can get out of the house, whee! lol (Reply to this) (Parent)

Honestly, I'm a little perturbed by the idea of a Restart. Especially, since I've been putting a lot of work into threads and getting my characters up to date with the past SL history. And now, that's going to be all for naught?

And Ideas? I don't think we have had no shortage of them. I've got Arcade ready to go. Murderworld is operational. You guys have the Hell Fire Club build up,now have them attack! Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were planning an X-factor sort of thing, which Magneto coming back would only bog down. I wanted to do a DR thing with Leech. I mean if anything else Movieverse-ify more cannons. I'd love to see Mister Sinister and the Morlock Massacre go down. That just screams Sabretooth with the Marauders. Or we could go to a Movie verse Savage Land? It could be like LOST but with Mutants! ;D OR Movie verse Master Mold and the Sentinels!

I mean, what would the ultimate purpose of a Restart be? Getting rid of the Vampire Story arc?

We're not (completely) short for ideas so far as the plot is concerned. I'm sorry if I made that unclear. I meant in general, for the game. Improvements. But it seems the majority would prefer a restart, including myself. I just have so many bad feelings toward some of the older story lines and players that have come and gone and it would make me feel a whole lot better if we could get a clean slate around here and attract some new players that would be more willing to dig in deep and stay for the long haul. A good number of the people who have joined do not have the discipline that you do, or the dedication, and never bothered to read any backstories or gotten to know the characters beyond (maybe) glancing at their profiles. So...

I'd love to hear from Dex still, but it seems the majority points toward a restart and that's what I'd prefer as well. And as for now, I'm the only moderator. So I guess I'll start on that so we can get going again. We can totally do some of those plots and themes you mentioned, however. We can do anything we'd like. So far as relationships and affiliations go, we can keep most of them, if not all. Alternate reasons can be developed, non? We can still have Murderworld, Quicksilver and Scarlet don't have to be with Magneto, or could have been and left...

But I wanted to thank you for being so productive and thoughtful all the time. Seriously. It's refreshing. :)

We have a mold to make for the new story and a specific time to set things into, so any more feedback is welcome.

Sorry for the delay. Simply put, a restart sounds good to me.

I feel the same way with getting Jay mainstreamed into the thick of things. I also think a fresh start might entice new people to join the group as it will be easier for them to get their own character in the mix. Then when active numbers are up again, throw together another big plot event.
