New York is a seriously scary place. I don't know how I keep getting talked into coming here.

The computer here is very inefficient, and so I tried to re-wire it. It's working better now but I think that I have extra cord that I don't need. Oh, and there might be extra inserty-things.

I guess I don't need them.

The leaves are turning colors. And they are falling off the trees. This is most unique. I understand that it is autumn. Osiris did not have seasons. It was temperate and about 80 degrees all year round.

I've seen snow, but not where I've lived.

With the efforts of labor complete, and victory met and achieved, tis fine and well-come indeed, to go home and enjoy a day of rest, to dream of fancy feasts and future victories.

I do believe I like this place.

While I do enjoy the redecorated apartment, filled with items of days of yore, and with technologies of tomorrow, I would prefer if such alterations were made by myself, while I was awake.

Which is to say, rather, where am I, and why?
