Just had my birthday a couple days ago. Know what that means... now I am a MAN. I, Lyle Bennet, have just turned 18. Oh yes. I guess I can legally go clubbing now So are there any good parties going on? Like, where there's a lot of girls? I feel like celebrating tonight. Or all week, actually. Maybe this calls for a drink or two.

The Coronado bridge is a crazy place. I didn't spend much time there as a kid, the parents always sort of co-avoided it. But it's surprisingly easy to just perch yourself on the side and look out over the water.

It's incredibly lonely around here.

Wow. I take my finals and all hell breaks loose.

I figured I'd be followed by a couple more Echolls. This is a little distressing.

Spring appears to finally be rearing it's head. Which is nice. The beaches are gonna be crowded again soon and I've been itching to grab a board, and studying too hard already to get a wetsuit.

And with spring comes the Dreaded Day in May. Yep, that holiday shared with Cinco de Mayo whence I came into the world on the living room floor.

21 years old, in what feels like no time at all. Who wants to be drinking buddies? You might get some half-decent stories out of me.

Well, life's a bit more quiet here. A lot more quiet. I keep waiting to hear mom laughing at me for not knowing she's had her eye on me for a while.

Or just laughing out of drunkenness.
