WHO: Everyone invited to the party.
WHAT: A party in order to celebrate Alicia's Auror training!
WHEN: Saturday night, 8 PM onward.
WHERE: The girl's house.
RATING: TBD.

Alicia wasn't actually sure if she was looking forward to the party. A week ago the idea had been her giddy, and slightly giggly, but not all she could think about was Adrian bloody Pucey and no amount of distraction had helped her. Ryan had been dropped off with her mother, spending the night thank the lord, and she'd been allowed to help get the house and herself ready in peace.

Nibbles and snacks had been put out - Alicia had generally helped with some pouring out of crisps and not actually eating them all - as well as some booze and soft drinks. About half an hour before Alicia had gone to get ready, changing into a dress (2 in a week? what was going on?) and procrastinating a little. She couldn't help but wonder if Adrian would come, perhaps that was why she'd actually made an effort with the dress.

Finally she tottered downstairs, grinning as she picked up a bottle of beer and walked straight through Ned who had ventured out into the living room. "Surely you're not wearing that? It hardly covers your knees!" While she usually ignored him she couldn't help but tugging lightly at her dress selfconciously, it brushed her knees, what more did he want? Maybe she should change.

"It's kind of weird being in and Ry not being around..." she told Angie and Katie lightly, frowning a little. It had been a while since she'd been in the house without him and it felt odd.

NOTE: Ned is the girls ghost, he's uptight and will be horrified at it all. Think Percy but dead.

Party! Katie was definitely excited as she flitted about the apartment, doing what she could to finish getting everything set up before finally standing still for a few minutes. She wasn't dressed up like Ali was, but she had at least put on a nicer top and a little more jewelery than she normally wore.

"I know what you mean," Katie nodded her head sympathetically. It wasn't the same, of course, but she'd grown accustomed to having Ali's son around and it did feel a little odd to not have him here. It was a necessity. though. This wasn't the kind of party you wanted a two year old around for.

"You'll feel better when people start showing up," she assured her. Which would hopefully be soon. They had everything ready to go (including Ned telling them they were all going to hell) and it was time for people to show up and enjoy all the food and drinks they had set out!

Angelina didn't really get dressed up all that much for parties, but she'd changed and just threw on some jeans and Manchester United t-shirt. Hell, she'd already dressed up once this week, and she was providing booze, food, and the party house. She didn't care if anyone had issue with what she was wearing.

Suddenly popping up between the two girls she reached between them for a crisp with a smile. "It is weird." She agreed popping the crisp in mouth.

She saw Ned out of the corner of her tsking at them. "If he wasn't already dead he'd die tonight."

The moment Michael stepped into the doorway of flat, his expression went from serious to fanatic. Whether or not he noticed it himself, the entire trip from his home to Vicky's and then to the party location, he'd held an atmosphere of grim alertness. It was as if he expected death to be lurking around every corner--maybe he did. As the war loomed evermore present around his consciousness, so did the emotions and visions of eight years ago: a blue hand, a vacant expression, two empty, lifeless eyes...

He didn't dwell on this, however. As he and Vicky entered the party and no longer had to worry about the dangers in every shadow, Michael's face washed over with normalcy. He grinned ear to ear, opened his arms wide and bellowed "Never fear, the party has finally arrived!" He paid no mind to any disapproving glances that were sent his way. "And by that I mean me, of course," he said, though more quietly this time. He glanced at his party partner and smirked. "I'll keep my eye on you, Frobisher, so you don't get into any trouble tonight. You being so young and impressionable, I wouldn't want you to get into anything that would spoil your virgin roots."

Vicky wasn't ordinarily a serious person, herself, and she was a little amused at how serious Michael was throughout the trip from her house to the party location. Somehow she managed to get the door and slip out without her parents or brothers demanding to meet the boy who was picking her up, which was good, because if they'd gotten started, it would have been hours before they could leave.

She had to admit she was impressed, too. She'd never really known Michael had such a protective streak to him and in a way it was nice, even if she really wanted to giggle at his seriousness on the way there.

She laughed at his words when they arrived. "Oh, Michael, you're so much older and wiser than I am. I don't know what I would do without you," she laughed as she looked around the room, checking to see who was there.

Michael laughed. "That's why I'm here to make sure you aren't exposed to anything too...adult." Michael scanned around the room when Vicky did, looking to see if any of his other friends has arrived. "Let me know if you see Goldi--Goldstein anywhere. He owes me two galleons and I've been needing it back."

He didn't seen Anthony, but he did find the food. "Oi Frobisher, I'm going over here. You should come with," he grabbed her hand and drug her over to the refreshment table.

If this was any indication, Vicky was going to have a great time at this party. They'd just gotten here and she was already enjoying herself. Of course a lot of that had to do with the way she couldn't help but laugh around Michael.

"Eeeep, yes, sir!" she laughed and half squealed as he grabbed her hand, not giving her much choice in the matter of following him or not. She didn't really mind, of course, but he'd caught her a little off guard.

Michael surveyed the food like a King at his own personal banquet. "Which should we try first?" He grabbed something sweet looking and shoved it into his mouth before she answered. "Here, Vicky, try this one," he added with a mouthful of food and attempted to shove the treat into her unopen mouth.

"Oh firewhisky!" He grinned, grabbing some for himself. "This is why parties are so wonderful."

Vicky was still trying to decide when Michael had apparently decided to pick something for her. It made a slight mess as he mouth wasn't quite open, but she managed to get some of it inside, working to chew and swallow before she burst out laughing.

"Yes, firewhiskey!" she agreed with a grin. She was really glad she'd decided to come to this thing!

Journal posts aside, Roger didn't really know this Gryffindor lot all that well. Sure, he had played against most of them during his time at Hogwarts, but they didn't exactly spend the time together off the Pitch getting to know one another back in school. They were good acquaintances at best, though out of them all, he knew Angelina the best.

Having been captains of their respective teams, they had spent quite a lot of time talking. Mostly, it had been to talk Quidditch and some friendly trash talking, but the past few journal posts had really opened his eyes to exactly how Johnson behaved.

And he didn't mind it in the least. The journals were a bloody brilliant idea and he was sure he wouldn't have been here if it hadn't been for them. It was because of them, after all, that he was talking to people he wouldn't have normally spoken to otherwise.

The party was well underway by the time he had arrived. Picking up just a soda for the moment, he wandered away from the snack table to give himself a tour of the open areas of the place. He kinda wanted to see this ghost of theirs.

Angelina was having a brilliant good time. Everything went off perfectly, and everyone seemed to be having a good enough time. Which was good. She hadn't been exactly sure how many people would be up for coming out after Diagon Alley, but it seemed people needed the outlet like they did.

Besides while the house they rented was concealed it was in a muggle area.

So she'd been dancing and drinking and mingling, talking to everyone she could get her hands on.

She soon saw Roger who seemed to be exploring and smiled brightly. She came up beside him and took hold of his arm a bit just to lean on slightly in her rather tipsy state. "HI!" She said simply.

Like the dinner with Angelina the other night, Roger refused to let cowards hiding behind their Dark Marks and Dark Lord ruin his life and cow him into hiding. No, he was going to go out and enjoy life.

So if he was invited to a party? He was going to show up. Especially if there were pretty women and booze involved.

"Hey," he said, sounding a little amused as Johnson came up beside him and decided to use him as a resting spot. "I take it you're enjoying yourself?"

"Very much." But Angelina wasn't very hard to please when it came to parties. As long as there were friends and good people. She could work with that. She liked to describe herself as friendly enough. So it was all good.

She glanced up at him. "It's been brilliant." She said a bit thickly. "You just get here?" She waved her had as if to say it really didn't matter that much. "If you did, you missed Ned's bout of righteous indignation over alcohol in the house, but whatever."

"It looks like you are," he said, putting an arm around her shoulder and squeezing a little. The party wasn't too off the wall, not anything he hadn't seen before. He honestly had expected there to be nudity and drunken behaviour filling the flat by that point because he had heard about the Gryffindors and their parties.

So he was both glad to not be caught up in some massive party and a little disappointed. Ravenclaw parties had been good fun, but not all that wild back in his day.

"Did I now? I'm sorry to have missed that. He sounds like, well, Percy Weasley." Roger was still befuddled by that wizard's love of rules and how he managed to snag someone like Penelope Clearwater. And honestly, who was so allergic to fun like him? He could remember when he had been Head Boy.

Tonight was proving to be a bit on the mellow side. Angelina had been to a few wild parties, and this was no where near wild. But Angelina wasn't sure if it was the fact that she was a Gryffindor or the fact that she was friends with the group she was friends with that led her to going to some wild and crazy parties though.

She brought her glass back up to her lips and polished it off. If Ned wasn't already dead, she was sure sometimes that he'd drop dead of a heart attack. "That's what I said!" She said thickly, nodding furiously in agreement. "But he packs an extra punch of '40 morality and fashion." She said giggling into his shoulder. "My shorts offend him."

If Roger had to take a guess, he would have figured that it all had a little to do with both Angelina's group of friends - the Weasley twins in particular - and their Gryffindor nature. Though, he did take into account that McGonagall was a Gyffindor and she didn't seem like she would have done half the things that these Gryffindors were rumoured to do.

Roger's lips twitched into a grin. "I don't see why they would. You have a great set of legs." Or so he thought from what he could see of them. It wasn't as if Angelina ran around starkers for him to really appreciate her body, bur she really should have.

"I know, right?" She said a bit loudly, agreeing with him whole heartedly on the state of her legs. They were awesome. "He's ridiculous, but also really good for a laugh."

She knew Ned was the main reason this place was a bit cheaper to rent than it should have been so she couldn't complain too much. Although he'd be bitching about the mess in the morning. Angelina could deal with that though. "I think he's secretly just angry that he lives with three pretty girls and is... dead." She was convinced that was the reason. She then added randomly and nonsensically. "You're a good leaning post."

"I guess I can understand that. I know I wouldn't be very pleasant if I lived with you lot and didn't have the ability to do anything about it." Now, orgies were more trouble than they should have been worth...but Roger was youthful and flexible. Could you blame him for the rather impolite thoughts he had about the former Gryffindor Chasers and a very large bed?

"I make a better chair." Amused more than ever, he directed her over to a couch. One end was occupied by a couple snogging, but he didn't mind them as he sat down and took the liberty of pulling her down on his lap. "Don't I?"

Angelina fell into his lap with an soft oomph, but was happy to settle in and get off of her feet. "You're being presumptuous." She said with a laugh surprised that she got that word out in her inebriated state. "You're assuming we'd let you do anything about it." Because while they all joked about it a lot. There weren't any crazy orgies happening in the house.

She leaned against him a bit, deciding that yes, Roger was very comfortable, but that dance fever WOULD hit her again. "Just until I feel like dancing again." She said with a smile. She didn't tell the couple to get a room because it was HER house and she didn't want people going at it in her bed.

"I would love to open your minds to new possibilities then. People say I have this way of convincing people to do things that they're unsure of," he said, the sides of his eyes crinkling as he gave her a smirk. A lot of that ability to convince people came from his lovely blue eyes. His best feature, some would say. At least, until they got him naked. Or so he claimed.

He was more than fine with becoming her chair, stroking the side of her thigh as they sat comfortably. "You take your time. I'm in no rush to get up." Roger didn't dance, really, so much as sway to the music with a bird pressed up nice and tight. But he rather not take advantage of Angelina's intoxicated state. Being sober meant having morals.

It had taken an hour for Anthony to convince his mum that he'd be fine, that there would be enough people there, with enough training, to make sure everyone was alright. And even then, his Da had to step in and remind her that they had to let him grow up.

A quick shower, change of clothes and Floo trip later, Anthony was standing in the girls' apartment. He put the crisps on the table (something his mum had insisted he bring) before getting a drink and looking around. Watching the others talk, dance and just move around, he felt himself relaxing more than he had since the middle of the last school year.

Fred came in about half an hour after George, being left to himself to lock up and finish the restocking. He zeroed in on the snacks table first, and on his way to it smacked his brother one hard on the back of the head for good measure, then went and grabbed a drink and a handful of crisps.

He didn't realize when he said, "No naked birds yet?" just how close he was standing to Goldstein. But when he did, he turned to him as if the question had been meant for him all along.

Anthony raised an eyebrow at Fred's question, not sure at first if it had been directed at him or was just a general question. When Fred turned to him, he glanced around a little as if to confirm that no one had lost their clothes yet. "The night's still early, but that means you didn't miss anything either. From what I've heard, there's a house ghost here who might have a fit if it happens, so I'm betting on someone losing clothes before the night's over."

He took a sip of his drink and raised his glass a little in salute, "How's things going Fred?"

As he'd said he would be, George ended up being a bit late by the time Fred and him got the store closed up for the night. He'd left Fred to finish up the last of the restocking - it served him right, he'd left George at the counter during Verity's break when that family with the screaming baby came in.

He popped in, looking around at the milling people and looking for any sign of food (since he'd forgotten to eat), or - more importantly - booze.

He caught sight of Katie and Ali flitting about and looking a bit tarted up. George had either missed the note about dressing up, or failed to actually pay attention to it. He wasn't fussed either way. He wore clean clothes, nothing charred or smelling of dragon dung or anything else. It was good enough.

He located the drinks and food with a triumphant noise and made his way over there, stuffing a few crisps in his mouth and then yelling a vague sort of hello to Alicia - and anyone else within hearing range. Thankfully after he'd swallowed.

Adrian may have been fashionably late, but he didn't think anyone could fault him for feeling a little anxious about tonight. He'd changed his clothing at least a half a dozen times and debated a few on whether he should come at all. Ali had said she wanted him there, though, and that in the end was enough to get him there.

It didn't take him long to locate her, even amidst the large numbers of people there. It was no surprise that so many had come to her celebration - Ali had always been popular, after all.

His stance may have been a little awkward as he debated whether to greet her with a hug or a kiss or neither and in the end he just stood there.

"You look beautiful," he told her, remembering some semblance of propriety, even if he honestly wasn't sure what to say or do next.

While she had been quite forward with wanting him her now she felt nothing but nervous. What if Adrian still wanted to have a go at her? Should she act normal around him? The same questions kept spinning around her head and it just got her more and more mixed up, spinning her around emotionally until she was kind of jumpy.

Alicia had stayed away from most alcohol, while she would like a repeat performance of a week ago she knew it wasn't on the cards and she thought it might be best to keep her head.

At the sound of his voice she turned, smiling slightly shyly at him. Damn, she hated how awkward this had become, how unsure of each other they were when only a week ago they'd been very forward with exactly what they wanted from each other.

Alicia didn't expect what he said, for a moment standing there a little shocked. Hands smoothed down her dress a little, it was summery and bright, loose fitting but nice still. She refused to admit to herself she'd worn a dress just in case he'd come around. Though, her shoes were long gone and in place were a pair of fluffy pink things.

"Thanks, you look good too," she told him with a smile, wondering whether she should hug him in greeting or something. "I'm glad you came."

"A party thrown by three Gruffindor Chasers?" he teased. "I'd be daft to miss it. I hear there are sometimes orgies..." He grinned and winked at her, feeling a little more at ease, though he wasn't sure, still, how to act. Whether he should hug her, kiss her, keep his distance.

"I know I said it over journals, Ali, but congratulations, really. I know how much you've wanted this," he told her, suddenly serious again. "You're going to make a brilliant Auror."

"Of course there are orgies, we have wild, kinky sex all the time!" She told him, laughing brightly. Sure, enough Ned popped his head between them at the mentions of origies or just sex in general. "You can be assured that, that does not occur on this property, sir!" Alicia narrowed her eyes at him, "Adrian this is Ned our resident ghost, Ned this is Adrian my..." Alicia paused, frowning... my friend who happens to be the father of my child and the reason I don't bother to bring anyone back because they're not good enough. Yeah, that about worked.

"Shoo Ned or I will direct that couple over there, yes the one's making out, into your study," Alicia warned, she didn't need Ned to tell Adrian her lack of sex or love life. Wasn't helpful right now.

After Ned had retreated a step or two, watching them sullenly as if he would suddenly decided to jump back into the conversation if it became inappropriate.

"Thanks, I'm really looking forward to it. I'll miss seeing Ryan all day but..." Alicia paused again, pushing her hand through her hair as a little touch of awkwardness settled onto her shoulders. Ryan, for all his tininess, was like the elephant in the room and she'd just gone and mentioned him.

"Such a disappointment," Adrian muttered, eyes dancing with amusement at the ghost's antics. He wasn't nearly so horrified by his behavior, but he supposed that was easy when he didn't have to live with him.

He nodded his head as she spoke, not minding at all that she'd brought up their son. He thought, briefly, to remind her that it was better to miss a day that two whole years, but he bit back that remark. He wasn't going to ruin her night with that, even if a part of him was still angry with her for keeping it from him.

"So that was Ned, huh?" he chuckled. "He's charming. Let's go have a drink." Drinking, dancing, that's what a party was for, wasn't it? His hand drifted naturally to the small of her back as he began to nudge her towards the alcohol, not thinking about what had happened the last time they'd let too much drink relax them.

"Oh, he's delightfully charming, not quite your level though," Alicia teased lightly, allowing him to shuffle her off to the drinks. "See, are you trying to get me drunk again so you can seduce me?" She asked him, turning around so she could face him as they came up to the little stash of alcohol, amusement dancing in her eyes. This was easier, the teasing banter, the light play.

Adrian snorted at that. Loudly. "I'll just bet it does." He didn't much like the thought of Ali having sex with someone else, but he kept that to himself, keeping his expression neutral. He could joke about the idea of a Gryffindor Chasers sex-a-thon, but, truthfully, he didn't want to share her with anyone, male or female.

"Would it work if I was?" he asked her, a grin of his face, though a part of him may have been serious. Maybe. He supposed it might be nicer to seduce her sober, but he could still remember the last time and he wouldn't hate repeating the experience, minus her little freakout the morning after.

That hand had lingered on the small of her back even as they'd reached the drink table and he used it to draw her closer now, slipping his arm more securely around her waist. Her. He wanted her. That was the thought that came to mind at her question.

"Are we still talking about drinks?" he asked her, his eyes serious as he looked down at her.

Hands rested against his chest as she leaned into him, allowing herself to relax into the warm circle of his arms. She didn't care she was in a room full of her friends, everyone could see how she eagerly allowed herself to be drawn into him. She just couldn't make herself care nor wipe the happy little grin off her face.

Would it work? "Yes, it would work, you wouldn't even need the drink," she told him honestly and while she was smiling she was serious. He didn't need to get her drunk, didn't need to lay on the charm, he had her already hook, line and sinker.

Another question and she drew in a breath, eyes lowering this time. No, she wasn't. "I want you. I've wanted you since I walked away that night and I've really tried not to, I tried to just let you go because I truly thought I was doing the right thing but...I want you," she told him quite simply, lifting her eyes to find his once again. Her hand lifted, tracing along the line of his jaw, thumb brushing over his lip.

"I want this to be something so much, I'm scared you hate me and I don't know where we stand. I'd understand if you do but, merlin, I think I've been in love with you for years and...I want you, Adrian. I want to be something to you, I want you to be a part of my life more than just...some fling or Ryan's father." Honesty, up front and there. Adrian watched speechless as she spoke, as she poured her heart out to him, saying the exact things that he had wanted to hear from her, even if he hadn't exactly realized it until very recently. The emotions he usually worked so hard to keep hidden were on full display as his arms tightened around her middle and a moment later, he was crushing his lips to hers, unable to truly find the words to answer her.

The kiss seemed to go on for an eternity. He pulled her as close as physically possible, one hand diving into her hair as her tried his utmost to demonstrate the feelings he couldn't seem to find the words to convey.

"I love you Ali," he murmured fiercely, pulling back long enough to say the words, but then moving right back into the embrace, not caring that there was a room full of people who might not approve as he proceeded to back up his words with his actions.

Alicia had always been one of those people who wore her heart on her sleeve, free and easy with her emotions as she felt them. She'd never had any need nor desire to hide them... unless it was him. They'd always been just physical, just something fun and light that she'd pushed aside any thoughts of feeling. It was easier that way but Alicia was kind of sick of easy and hiding things. She really wanted to be able to kiss him when she wanted and to talk to him and to have him in every way.

The kiss took her by surprise, she didn't know why and she had hoped this would be how it went but she hadn't expected it. The kiss said it all, it said enough as she pressed into him and kissed back with the same passion. It left her breathless, clinging to him like the world had given way.

Those words, so quietly whispered against her lips, was what she'd been waiting to here since whatever they were had started. It was perfect. Utterly perfect and Alicia didn't care that she was wearing her pink, fluffy slippers for this moment or that they were in a crowded room. Right now, all that mattered was them, the two of them locked in the embrace. "Say it again," she whispered against his lips, her own curling into a smile.

Adrian didn't care, either, that she was standing here in her slippers, which were actually kind of adorable and so very her or that they weren't exactly as alone as it felt like they were in this moment. He hadn't consciously been hoping or waiting for this moment, but here it was and it was perfect in every way. It was them, sudden and unexpected and impulsive. Adrian rarely did anything on impulse, but Ali, she brought it out in him and that was something he had always loved about her.

"I love you," he repeated at her whispered demand, lips turned up into a smile as he kissed her yet again. He lingered only a moment and then a murmured "Merlin, do I love you," before he was pulling her into a deeper embrace.

In this moment, he wasn't thinking about their separate friends or their son or anything else. He wasn't thinking about how hurt and angry he'd been at her keeping Ryan from him, keeping the very fact of his existence a secret for so long. He wasn't thinking about how her closest friends hated him or how that feeling was pretty much mutual. The only thing that existed in this moment was her, them. Nothing else mattered.

It was perfect in that against the grain, impulsive and exactly them kind of way. Alicia wouldn't change it even if she could because the sound of his voice telling her that he actually loved her was beyond anything she could ever ask for. Perfect. She was laughing against his kisses, happy in his arms as she forgot the world around them. This was going to take some explaining to Angie and Katie, but later, when she wasn't going slightly weak at the knees.

How this was going to work she didn't know but she knew somehow it would. They would figure out a way to deal with the whole mutual dislike between friends, the issues she'd created, she figured it'd likely be a little difficult with everything else going on but... he was worth it, this moment was worth it. Two years of worrying he hated her, two years of being alone was worth it because right now, Adrian was here because he wanted to be here and not because he should be.

She kissed him eagerly, arms around his neck as she leant into his words. "Perfect," she whispered lightly, softly into the curve of his lips. "I'm sorry for... I'm sorry," Alicia told him quietly but sincerely. She was sorry in some ways but perhaps the two years and lies worth it to get to this point.

They would figure it out. Adrian was confident that, somehow, they could make this work and he wasn't going to worry about the details when right now all he really wanted to do was kiss her. He hadn't been fully aware of how, exactly, he had felt about her until he'd heard the words coming from his mouth and it seemed to be a moment worth celebrating. She loved him, he loved her, they had a son. It might all be overwhelming if he stopped to analyze it right at the moment, but for right now, it felt simply amazing.

He shook his head at her apologies, a hand moving over her cheek. "It's in the past," he told him, managing a small smile. His own feelings on the matter of their son were still a jumble and not likely to be resolved soon, but he refused to let himself resent her or remain angry with her over what had happened. He wouldn't risk what was happening now for the sake of being angry over something it was too late to change. "No more secrets? Promise me that and I'm content to leave the past where it belongs."

It had all been worth it in the end, to get them to this point. Her heart was racing double time, trying to break free from her chest as he kissed her breathless. Later she'd let herself think through the details, later when she didn't have alcohol in her veins and he wasn't making her slightly weak at the knees and all thoughts quickly flee.

"I promise; no secrets ever," she told him with a firm nod. There was no budging her on that, she'd been promised and she would keep that promise. She kissed him again, brief before finding his hand to tug him through the house and to her room. She wanted him all to herself for a little while, her guests forgotten as she lead him through.

A part of Adrian would always wish that it had gone differently, that she'd told him then instead of now, that he'd not missed that time with their son or the sight of Ali swollen with pregnancy. He wasn't going to hold onto that, though, not when it would impeded his happiness with what was happening now. Whatever his feelings for the past, now things felt as they should be and that was what he wanted to focus on.

He willingly let himself be tugged, giving no thought to the party going on around them as they made their way to her bedroom, kicking the door closed behind them before his hands were in her hair and his lips were pressed once more to hers in a hungry, needy kiss. This was what mattered, this moment and the hope that this time when they woke up it would be different, that she would be happy to wake up in his arms.

The last time Alicia had slowly awoken against someone she'd freaked out. This time she allowed sleep to slowly slip from her shoulders as she snuggled into the body beside her. Just like last time she knew who it was but at least this time she could remember every detail of the night before.

A smile curved her lips as she snuggled further into him, this time definitely not freaking out. Isn't that nice? She kept her eyes closing, not yet ready to let the happy warmth of the morning slip away, just in case he'd had a crazy moment last night and was actually drunk out of his mind and meant nothing.

She did know she couldn't feign sleep forever though as could as it felt to be like this with him. Eyes fluttered open slowly, that smile creeping back onto her features. "Morning," she told him softly, brushing a kiss against his shoulder.
