"Such a disappointment," Adrian muttered, eyes dancing with amusement at the ghost's antics. He wasn't nearly so horrified by his behavior, but he supposed that was easy when he didn't have to live with him.
He nodded his head as she spoke, not minding at all that she'd brought up their son. He thought, briefly, to remind her that it was better to miss a day that two whole years, but he bit back that remark. He wasn't going to ruin her night with that, even if a part of him was still angry with her for keeping it from him.
"So that was Ned, huh?" he chuckled. "He's charming. Let's go have a drink." Drinking, dancing, that's what a party was for, wasn't it? His hand drifted naturally to the small of her back as he began to nudge her towards the alcohol, not thinking about what had happened the last time they'd let too much drink relax them.
