Anyways, I'm going to tell you now what the plot is!!!


So this idea was submitted some time ago by Sam and I was saving it for a really special time. Now is definitely the time. We've cleaned house, made sure all who are interested are still here and it's time for an awesome plot.

GODBOXES MALFUNCTION FOR A WEEK.

IKNORITE?!?! Totally awesome idea. See, here's the deal:

God is basically going to go take a reeeeeeeally long nap and say fuck it all. So when people go to use their Godboxes, instead of taking them to their intended destination, it will fuck up and send them to some completely different place. The Godboxes aren't going to always malfunction. Some people can get to where they want to go, for instance the people you don't choose to have participate.

The way this is going to work is I want everyone who wants to participate comment to this post with each character they want to have in the plot. You can always change your mind later and add or subtract pups.

Once I've gotten all the names, I'm going to write them on paper and randomly pair them up. I'm also going to pick a ton of random places and choose one for each pair.

You have until SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 19TH at MIDNIGHT PST to respond to this post.

ACTIVITY CHECK!!!!!!!

It has been one hell of a year for pretty much everyone in this game. RL-wise, I'm pretty sure there is not one of us in game that have not had something major happen this year, good or bad or just stressful and time-consuming. And in game we've had so much happen, from drama to slow play, from massive drops to tons of adds. And now we've been in a sloooow holding pattern.

It's time for that to end. In an effort to jump start this glorious game, we're doing this activity check, like I informed you guys in the email last week. If you didn't get the email, that's because I don't have an accurate email for you, so please email me and inform me who you are and who you play so I can save your email address!

Immediately following the end of this activity check next Monday, I will be posting an entry detailing the plot that will take place that following Friday.

So regarding this activity check, here's the deal:

Please comment to this post with YOUR NAME in the subject line and who you are keeping and/or dropping in the comment box. Activity check is over on SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 12TH at midnight PST.

When the activity check is over, I will be removing all characters not claimed from the comms and the taken list. If you miss the activity check but still want to play, email the mods with who your characters are and your name and that you want to keep them and if they haven't been applied for by someone else, you can have them back.

And don't forget about the wiki, kids. It's important too, and that goes for EVERYONE here in this community. If you don't have a wiki page for yourself or your pups, go make one. Please. Srsly. We don't have a lot of rules here and the ones we do have we're lax in enforcing. But an updated taken list and a current wiki are important to Pryllie. They make Pryllie a very happy...um...Pryllie. :D

Activity check is over. This weekend I will compile a list of the characters that are up for grabs due to the mun not replying to the activity check.

To all of you that might be seeing this and didn't reply to the check, if after I put up that list you want your characters back, just email us and let us know. If they haven't been applied for, you can have them back.

It's been a VERY long time since we had an activity check and even though it's been slow and all of us, including the mods, are guilty of not playing that often, I'm not as concerned with those of us that at least do check in and comment even if we don't do all the posting.

What I'm concerned with is the people who've taken characters here and then NEVER played them. Or posted or commented with them once, and then let them die. We have had numerous interest from people wanting to play characters that are already taken and they either can't get a hold of the mun or the mun has said no even though they haven't played the character in a long time or at all.

So here's the deal.

Reply to this post with YOUR NAME in the subject line. Tell us in the comment who ALL your characters are.

The comments are screened to make it easier for us as mods to keep this post clean and accurately see who has what characters.

You have until MIDNIGHT next Friday, the 18th to reply to this activity check.

If you do not reply to this post, your characters will be removed from the communities and will be immediately up for grabs.

If you miss an activity check, you can request your characters back, if they're not already taken. We're not complete hardasses. We just ask that you not miss multiple checks, especially consecutive ones.

Real life swallowed me whole, but I'm posting to let you all know that there will be a Halloween plot.

The one that won the poll was that your worst fear would come alive, a la Barbas from Charmed. You can read more about this demon and his power here: Barbas.

This plot will be live at midnight PST Friday night/Saturday morning. It will run for the weekend. You have until midnight Sunday night to play it, but if you want to backdate a log and you can't post it until Monday or whatever, that's fine. Just be sure that your timeframe is from Saturday or Sunday. Thanks!

What should our plot for Halloween be?

The personality swap plot is now officially over. That is to say, the week is over. You no longer have to have your pups be swapped if you don't want to.

However, this is of course one of our month long plots, so while you don't have to have your pup stay swapped, you're welcome to play it out over the course of the next three weeks. At which time we'll have a new plot! Hopefully that is. Assuming RL doesn't eat me again. .

Remember, if you want to keep playing your pup as swapped you're more than welcome to. And even if the pup you swapped with isn't swapped anymore, that doesn't matter.

NEW PLOT!!!


I've been a little busy with RL as you all know, and with Amber moving and whatnot, we've been a little lax with our plot timeline. The once a month plot plan kind of fell by the wayside, but it's back! For this month, we're going to run a plot for one week, and after that week if you want to stop playing in it you can, but you can also extend it for up to one month after the first day of the plot. This plot is not mandatory, and you can participate with as many or as few characters as you want. Here's the plot!!

We're going to have a personality swap! Anyone who wants to involve their characters will reply to this post with what characters. You have until noon PST September 16th to reply. At that time I will draw names from a hat to randomly pair up personalities to swap. If it's an unknown personality, there's always Wikipedia and Google to figure it out, plus you could always ask the mun of the original character to figure out how to act. Wouldn't it be funny if Captain America swapped personalities with Sylar? Or Rodney McKay swapped personalities with Barbie?

So anyone who wants to play in this plot please comment here with which characters you want to use. The afternoon of Wednesday September 16th, I'll draw names and post the pairings that night. The plot will start at midnight September 18th. That means between Thursday and Friday for you time-challenged peoples.

Apps are reopened and Ickle plot is now over. It officially ended on the 1st but I was unavoidably detained and didn't get to post.

As was mentioned in the post announcing the start of ickle!plot, you now have the option to keep your ickle as a separate character if you like. Whichever ickle you decide you want to keep, send us an email with their name, fandom, age, new journal, etc. Just like a regular app, except we'd like to know the age of your ickle also. Once the app is sent, then join the comms and we'll approve them as soon as possible.

New plot coming soon! A little hint, it's one that will be pretty interesting for characters who can be complete opposites or enemies...

It's ickle time!!!!

So I(Pryllie) fail and forgot to post this morning but as I'm sure you've all seen, the ickle plot is a go! My daughter's had a fever for three days and was throwing up yesterday, so hence my brain fail.


The tag for this plot is ickle!plot. PLEASE make sure you tag all ickle posts with that tag. And let me remind you, we should ALL be tagging all of our posts anyways. I know even us mods forget sometimes. Thank you to those of you that tag for people who forget!

Additionally, at the end of this plot in June, we're offering the option of keeping your ickles. You can have one or all if you so choose. You'll need to make a new journal for your ickle and then send an app to us mods. Of course we'll approve it, we just need it for our files. I will be out of town from June 19th-30th, so I've extended this plot til July 1st. When I return, there will be a new plot!!!

Okay, so we're going to have another plot! This one will have long term consequences if you so choose. And I'm sooo sorry Keri for taking this long! I HATE MY LIFE SOMETIMES!

ANYWAYS!

This is the plot: For the rest of the month, and until June 16th if you so like, you can have an ickle version of your character! This plot will start off with the ickle being played out of your journal for your regular character and all posts with the ickle being tagged ickle!plot.

What this means is, your pup is now responsible for little them! This can be anywhere from a baby to a teenager to a young adult, depending on the current age of your pup.

A while back, Keri said that she was going to ickle John Winchester, and anyone who didn't want to care for their own ickle could make them go live with him! She said, and I quote!:

"You should let players know if they wanna ickle thier characters but they DON'T want to have their grown chars take care of them, that ickle John will take care of ALL ickles. Im thinking of a big blue Victorian house with all these different rooms with different adventures to be had in it. For example, the ickles could go in the jungle room or the wild west room or the space room. Ickle John would also have innate knowledge of any weird talents or backgrounds the ickles would have so he can take care of them.

If ickles do stay with their grown chars, there will be times when all ickles are brought to the ickle house to have adventures. And there will be times when all ickles are given over to their grown chars to give ickle John a break. Every week on Sunday ickle John will post the adventure of the week. The ickles can go in at that time or play with that room anytime during the week. And of course, ickles can have adventures on their own also. Rodney will adapt godboxes to allow for ickle communication, voice post or whatever."

This plot will be implemented Wednesday at 8 am PST! If one of the mods hasn't posted anything to remind you about it, go ahead and start posting!

We've recently realized that there have been a couple things that have skirted the rules, and a few that are out and out rule breakers happen here in our happy little community. Because of this, we're going to point to our rules located here
and ask that everyone read them thoroughly and reply back here with the special sentence I've inserted in the rules to show everyone has read them. Comments are screened and those of you that are friends? Please don't tell your friends what the sentence is. Just let them read the rules. If people can't take five minutes to read some very basic and very brief rules, then maybe they don't belong in this game.

Additionally, our app process is changing to include the requirements that new people read our rules and the FAQ when applying to our game. So those of you that are pimping us out to your friends and stuff be sure to point out the app process to them! Thanks!

This is the first bi-monthly activity check here at World In Her Hands! Everyone needs to reply to this post! Please put your name in the subject line and in the comment portion state your intentions for your characters. If you want to keep them all, say so. If you want to drop some, reply to the taken list with who you're dropping. We just need you to comment so we know you still want to play here.

I know we just got two or three new players here, and yes, you still have to reply to this, although you won't be removed from the game if you don't.

However for the rest of us, the mods included, if you don't reply to this post by APRIL 10TH @MIDNIGHT PST you WILL be removed from all the communities. Remember, this is the only time we will be posting a link to an activity check in every community and it's also the only time we will give warning ahead of time, or send an email. From here on out, if you miss an activity check, you will have your characters removed, unless you've already requested a hiatus.

If you miss an activity check, you can request your characters back. We're not complete hardasses. We just ask that you not miss multiple checks, especially consecutive ones.

Over the last few months we've had a lot of people inquire as to whether some players are in the game anymore. It occurred to Amber and I that we've never really had an official activity check even though it states in our rules that we require players to at least comment or post with all of their characters once a month.

So we've decided to institute a bi-monthly activity check. What this means is that approximately once every two months, or every month if we change our minds, we're going to put a post in the OOC announcing an activity check. Typically we'll give a 7 day period where you have to reply to it to let us know that you still intend to play your characters. If you haven't replied to it in that time, any characters that you play will be removed from the game. It also gives you the opportunity to decide if you truly want to play these characters anymore or if you're just hanging on to them because you aren't sure if you should drop them or not.

The first activity check will be taking place on April 1st which is this Wednesday. We're going to post it in EVERY community this time and this time only, to make sure that everyone sees it. Some people don't check the OOC and I'm not even sure if I have the email address of everyone in game, but I have sent an email to every address I have. If you didn't get one, chances are I don't have your email address or the one I have is one you don't use anymore. Please email me/us with an address you DO use.

For this first check, we're giving you 10 days to respond instead of 7. But for every check after this it will be 7 days. If you miss the activity check, you can have your characters back. All you have to do is email us and let us know that you missed it but you want your pups back. We're fine with that. But don't abuse our leniency. If you keep missing the checks, we're going to get sick of it and say no, you can't come back.

As always, any questions can be directed to either Amber or myself or both of us. We're committed to making this experience here a fun one, not a structured, no-nonsense, covered in rules game. We take pride in being a crack panfandom game, and we want people to enjoy themselves.
