Who: Sylar and Tesla What: Cake, clocks and female talks When: Today Where: Neptune Rating: PG
Sylar hadn't meant to piss her off, not this time at least. He'd admit that yes, sometimes he was in the mood to be a douche and tried to piss her off because he wanted to have some fun with it, but lately it had all been accidental. He didn't want something to happen, either between the two of them because he'd meant what he'd sort of said, she was basically his closest friend. She was the one he'd turn to whenever he was really upset and needed someone there for him. And secondly, he didn't want anything to happen to her or the baby.
He did as promised, first packing up the pineapple cake. He wasn't a huge fan of pineapple himself, but he knew she and the little her loved it and had made it for him at one point when he had to take a break to rest his eyes from bending over the clock. He was only getting a few hours of sleep a night, but he didn't really mind. He was slightly hopeful that it would lead him to exhaustion so that he would just pass out one day and sleep for the following few. It would be a relief to him really, to get away from the world for a bit. But alas, he hadn't dropped dead (asleep) yet, much to his chagrin.
In another package he wrapped up the clock. He'd worked hard on it, modelling it after one he had seen on a trip to Germany at the geekiest thing known to man, a watchmaker's meet, and had instantly fallen in love with it. He'd said to himself that one day, one day he was going to make sure that his own son or daughter had one hanging in their playroom, but obviously, seeing as he wasn't going to have a son OR a daughter, he figured the next best thing was to give it to someone he cared or dearly, so that at least someone would have it. He'd worked hard on it too. Carving and making sure that the details were perfect (and they would have to be to pass his standards). He'd left a space on the side where he was going to put in the birth date under where Ace's full named was carved, and he had to put in the pieces of music, but to be able to do that he had to find out from Tesla what songs she would want in it, perhaps even have her sing if she wanted so that he would hear her voice every hour. Either way though, he was as done as he could be for the moment and he wanted her to see it so that if she didn't like it he could make a new one.
With everything ready he grabbed both packages and then, with ease teleported to her door, and then, letting the cake hover for a moment he knocked on the door.
"Tess? I'm here for belly nuzzling and Female 101!" he called, grinning a bit to himself. "I brought cake as promised!"
