Sylar beamed, obviously proud of himself when Ace kicked and he could feel it, though before he could say anything he was being dragged away by her, though he didn't mind that all that much. He was just glad, and relieved that she wasn't cross with him, and he was ready to make sure it stayed that way. "Well, you know Tess," he smiled and put an arm around her, pulling her so she could lean on his shoulder and curl up more if desired. "First of all, you still look like a million bucks even if you don't feel like it," he said, an amused smile on his face. "And, you know that it's going to be worth feeling like shit in the end of it all. After you pop it out, because, while you're doing it, because, ugh, I've seen a video of a birth? And I er...might have passed out a little," he admitted, wrinkling his nose a bit.
He chuckled softly at the way she prodded the baby and he reached over, taking her hand and making so it was flat on her stomach instead. "Well, don't worry about it right now. Super hearing, if I notice any change I'll tell you right away. Right now he's just fine. Relaxing. And you should be too." He snorted with laughter at her statement and then shrugged a bit. "Well, you know, there are those weird ass mothers who breastfeed there kids until they're like. 8. So I'm assuming, and hoping to God that you don't do that, because really, if you do there's something wrong with you and I'll have to come mess up your brain," he teased, giving her a gentle little nudge.
Sylar's eyes widened quite a bit at the way the words just spilled from her, he hadn't even done anything to start the spewing fountain of mouth diarrhea that was Tesla at the moment, and he just stayed quite until she finished. "Everything's going to be fine Tessie," he said carefully, careful because he wanted to make sure that she was done before he interrupted her or something of the sort. However, he seemed to have the chance to talk now and he could spew just like her if needed. "I think that really, every single first time mom worries about every little thing that could go wrong because everything is like...new you know? I mean, I don't know really, of course, I can't. But the first week after you sent Teacup to me? Every time she made a little sound in her sleep I would be in there to check on her and make sure that everything was still okay. Mostly it was, though a few times she'd managed to kick her blanket off so I would have to fix that. But, I worried all the time about her. If she was okay and if she was happy. All that stuff," he smiled, giving her another gentle, comforting squeeze. "And as for your cat? I don't think you'll need to worry about it too much. Just, you know, pay attention to it as well. It'll get used to not being the constant center of attention after a bit. I was trying to ween Victor off being needy all the time, but Ethan wasn't really a help there because whenever he'd cry he'd immediately be on the floor with him. And the idiot thinks he wouldn't be good with kids," he muttered, rolling his eyes a bit.
"Trust me Tess, everything's going to be okay. You're going to have a big happy family, and by the time you're 40 you're going to be one of those adorable cooking mothers. Kinda like Paula Dean, talking about your kids all the time and all that shit," he laughed and pecked the top of her head again. "And lastly, don't worry about Logan. If he ever flips out I'll come over and punch him back into his senses, and then flee before he can do anything back to me because I'm a wuss like that."
He laughed and put his hand back on Tess' stomach for a moment, going quiet before taking it away again. "You've been needing someone to talk to, haven't you?"
