Clio was furious. Honestly who expected students not to date and snog and fuck? They were teenagers for Merlin's sake! All full of hormones and whatnot and living with members of the opposite sex. And yet they were punished for doing what came naturally to them?

They were all just fucking prats, that was it. Just fucking jealous prats, all of them.

She let out an angry noise and shoved out of her dorm, storming up the steps and barking at a gaggle of firsties who were blocking the top of the stairs. They scattered in fear and she looked around the room, not spotting Ian. She growled again, spinning away and stalking down the stairs towards the boy's dorm, not caring in the slightest if anyone spotted her. "Ian!" she called, banging on the door to his dorm.

Most of the students were still eating when Ernie put his fork down with a clatter. He'd heard that Professor Umbridge was in a particularly foul mood yesterday, and he wanted to be punctual to Defence Against the Dark Arts. But before he headed toward the classroom, he wanted to stop by the Gryffindor table to wish Hermione Granger a belated happy birthday. He'd always thought highly of the witch, and seeing as she was a fellow Prefect, it seemed the right thing to do even if he was a day late.

Unfortunately, in his haste to leave the still crowded table, Ernie got tangled in his bookbag and, in trying to extricate himself, upset a large bowl. Its contents spilled over the table and into the laps of many of his neighbors, but worse yet, he'd managed to land on the serving spoon at just the right angle. Ernie could only watch helplessly as a large spoonful of peas sailed across the Great Hall, arcing over the Hufflepuff table and bombarding no small number of Gryffindors.
